Ht. 5'1, Wt. 147.5 - I'm going on vacation to north carolina tomorrow. I really want to keep exercising when I'm there. We'll be in a neighborhood (its where i used to live) so should I be embarrassed to ask if I can use someone's exercise machine? Will they think that's rude? I need to stay active while I'm there, or else I won't achieve my goal. Would it be awful of me to ask them to take me to a gym in the morning, if they like don't have a treadmill? Staying active is really important to me right now, and I want them to know that. It's the only way I can relax myself. How should I ask them to help me out? Would you be offended if you were an adult and a teenager asked you to take her to a gym when she was visiting? No one my age that I know will necessarily be there.

I think that is really good you are trying to keep active but using the tread mill or a machhine is NOT the only way to keep active instead of using one, try walking or strecthing while listning to music or watching the T.V and If you know these people they should be supportive of you decision to keep healty over the summer and take you to the gym

well if you know them, they deff. wont think your rude. just dont walk up to some random persons house lol..but otherwise its definetly ok. if they say no, just walk or jog outside or something like that. theres plenty you can do without machines
