Ht. 5,4, Wt. 196lbs - Hey everyone!!! aaaaa iv been overweight since iv been at leat 6 and im now 13!!!! i dont want 2 go out doors caz i feel reli embrassed. i dont want 2 buy clothes caz im soooo fat. i hav loads of friends and dont get teased that much. but there are the occasional. how can i lose 4 stone!!!! plz reply im so depressed!! (Note: 1 stone (st) equals 14 pounds.)

Reply from Sammy, Age 13 - 07/19/05 - IP#: 24.247.21.xxx Hey there. Thats what we are here for. If you are embarassed to go outside, then try doing exercise videos inside. I enjoy walk away the pounds and begining stott pilates because they are both easy to follow but give a good workout (the stott pilates will help to tone muscle, and we all know, muscle burns fat!). I've also heard that tae bo is a really good and fun workout. But if you arn't willing to spend money on videos, try just dancing around to music in your bedroom! Go wild and crazy! lol. And also, try to start eating right. One of my favorite breakfast is a breakfast burrito (Scrambled eggs, letuce, and salsa wrapped in a flour tortilla [wheat is better for you though]) and if you get hungry inbetween meals, try having a piece of fruit. One last tip is to keep a simple journal of your day. What i do is in a regular notebook, divide the page into fourths. Then in each fourth, draw a clock (for your amount of exercising), 4 apples (for the amount of fruits you had), 4 carrots (for the veggies), and 8 glasses of water. That way, all you have to do, is circle something everytime you eat it, and when you exercise, just color the time in. Well i know this post is long, but i hope i helped!
