Ht. 5'5", Wt. 190 Goal 150 - i have a couple questions.how many calories are in a pound?when you exercise are you trying to burn off all the calories you eat during the day for example if you eat 1200 cals are you trying to burn off 1200 cals?last question.whats a liquid diet and does it work and is it healthy?

thanks everybody.ive decided not to count calories, just eat healthy.if you eat healthy chances are you're eating the right amount of cals and etc.im just going to exercise whenever and whenever i get a craving im just going to exercise until its gone.im starting this monday so pray for me.lol.hopefully eventually i wont have to come here anymore.

no liquid diets are not healthy... there are 3500 calories in a lb. also, if you eat 2000 cals, yes you need to burn of 2000 cals. but not all through excersice. just your metabolism and just walking around and breathing and stuff burns most of the calories, so you only have to burn like 500 through excersice..

There are 3500 calories in a pound. And no, it is not healthy to exercise off all your calories. Depending on your BMR, you would probably need to eat around 1200 and 1500 and burn around 350 calories to lose 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week. An all liquid diet is a diet where you only drink liquids for a certain amount of time (usually 3 days) and don't eat anything. Its usually meant for a jump start in weight loss or also to rid your body of any harmful chemicals and stuff in your body. I really don't think its that healthy because you are basically starving yourself though. Good luck and i hope i answered all your questions! *Sammy*
