Ht. 5"2, Wt. *sigh* - Hi guys...I just have to vent. I feel so desperate and hopeless. ALL I want is to lose weight, but I am having so much difficulty making the scale budge. I work 40 hours a week, so when I come home from work, I'm too tired to work out. I also haven't been happy lately, so I turn to food for comfort, which leads to a binge. I scare myself with the amount of food I eat. Really, all I want is to lose 5 lbs before Sept 1, which seems so easy, but my lifestyle doesn't seem to permit it. I've been avoiding seeing my friends because I don't want to eat out...but I can't keep this up much longer. I set goals for myself in terms of exercise, but whenever I meet my goal, I ruin it with a binge. I'm not going to give up dieting and exercise...but sometimes I feel like it's so much harder for me. ^.^ Karine ^.^

When you reach your goal give yourself a pat on the back, but since you binge once you have reached it act like you haven't lost it and who knows, maybe youll lose 20 some pounds!

So exercize in the morning, so you don't have to worry about being to tired. I hate to break it to you, but you're not the only one who has a busy schedule. Often I leave the house at 7 for school, and dont get home till about 7 at night. You just have to make losing weight a priority.

The first thing you need do do is stop making up excuses for yourself. A 40 hour work week is only 8 hours a day. Minus even 10 hours of sleep, that still leaves 6 for you time. A one hour time slot won't kill you. Plus it will make you feel better. Also, cut the binges. OR substitute. Popcorn is one of my favorites. If you dont get crazy with the butter lover crap and stick to the good for you kind. It fills you up and doesnt weigh you down. Other than that it sounds like you need a reality check. Start a food journal. It works for me. Kristen
