Ht. 5'5", Wt. 143 - Hey ppl!! I just ate a plate of lettuce with a little bit of steak cut up in it. Is that ok to eat or is steak not good for losing weight? Is it too fattening?Also, I read something earlier today that says that one apple has the same calories as a single potato chip. Isn't that weird? I mean an apple will fill you up, but nobody will stop at one potato chip. With the amount of calories you eat in one serving of potato chips, you could have ate at least 30-50 days worth of snacks (apples). I'm sticking to apples from now on! Well, let me know about the steak thing and everything.=)
Reply from Julie, Age 16 - 08/18/05 - IP#: 4.242.183.xxx It probably depends on the kind of potato chip...I'm sure some are more than 10-15 calories. Anyway, yeah, stick with the apples. They are a negative calorie food, so it's really good, while the potato chip isn't.

Reply from Camille, Age 17 - 08/18/05 - IP#: 70.81.187.xxx Steak is fine. Nothing is "too fattening" unless you eat too much of it. Also, an apple is NOT the same as one potato chip. An apple is anywhere from 50-90 calories, and a potato chip is about 15-20 calories. Not the same at all.
