Ht. 5'3", Wt. 212 - Ok, for the past three and a half weeks, I have been cutting back on what I eat, and I was trying to exercise. In two weeks, I had lost 7.5 pounds and was down to 209.5. But then it was my sisters b-day, and I had some cake and ice cream, and I got back to 213. I've lost a pound back but I haven't exercised for over a week, cause I lost motivation, and I think that's what the problem is. Does anyone have any tips for getting motivated to exercise???
Reply from nikki, Age 17 - 09/01/05 - IP#: 24.141.43.xxx thats what i need. motivation to start again. once u start and do it for a week or so.. ur hooked. at least i am. to get back to working out again i think i gotta force myself (like tomorrow) no matter what to do it. then keep forcing myself till i like it again. cuz i remember i did like it. it makes u feel strong and beautiful and like ur taking control of ur life u know? yep ill try tomorrow. u shuold too@! good luck! :)

Don't sweat the small mess-ups, I'm sure it was really good while it lasted. Just think about your priorities and what you feel is best for you. The biggest motivation comes from within and can't be supplied by those around you. But to get into the right mind-set, think about healthy, unclogged arteries, skinny jeans, hot guys, and tight, flat stomachs. Start exercising again. Start with something fun, if your not ready to get back into serious work outs.
