Ht. 5' 7, Wt. 194 - Hi, Im new to this site. I know I am quite overweight. I keep trying to lose weight and I lost 4 pounds and then I just lose it and gain it all back. I really want to be between thin and normal and get a real six pack. How much should I weight to have a six pack? Any suggestions for losing weight? Thanks guys.

Reply from charlotte, Age 15 - 12/09/05 - IP#: 71.112.36.xxx 6 packs are very hard to get for girls so i would go for a 4pack, getting a 6 pack as a girl would take unbelivable weight training

Reply from Shawn, Age 17 - 12/09/05 - IP#: 70.17.201.xxx Hi Josh, You'd probably have to be about 130-135 lbs. in order to have visible "six-pack" abs. I say this from experience. It's impossible to develop six-pack abs if you have a substantial amount of stomach fat. I do, so I know I'm never going to get six-pack abs unless I lose the weight. Two of my closest friends are about 6'1'' and 140 lbs and both have clearly visible six-pack abs even though they dont work out. Essentially, everyone has a 6-pack under their skin, the trick is getting it to show through. This is what takes all the hard work. I know how you feel about losing 4 lbs. and then gaining them back again. The same thing happens to me. Good luck and I hope you get your 6-pack!
