Ht. 5'2, Wt. 205. Goal: 160 - For a couple months now I've been trying to lose weight... I cut out all my sugars (soda, sweets, chips, etc). I usually have a bagel for breakfast with water, a small sub for lunch, and then whatever my mother cooks for dinner. I play DDR alot... all the time practically, I'm so addicted to it... but even though i've been exersizing and eating really healthly, I'm not losing anyweight at all... I want to be at 180 by the end of april... thats 25 pounds in three months... any advice? Please?

Reply from laura, Age 18 - 02/12/06 - IP#: 69.47.203.xxx maybe you are starting to gain muscle, which ways more than fat. otherwise maybe your metabolism needs a jump start, like eating more smaller meals throughout the day instead of just 3 small meals a day. soemtimes my exercise routine seems to stop working for awhile, like my body is used to it. try doing some different exercises. i know it sucks when it seems like your're doing all that you can and you see no results. just don't do the same mistake that i did and give up exercising all together. good luck!

Reply from April, Age 16 - 02/12/06 - IP#: 24.197.5.xxx there can only be one explination for why you're not losing weight -- you're not burning more calories than you consume. Look on the internet and find how many you burn a day then eat less than that!Good luck!
