Ht. 5'5", Wt. 210 - im screwed guys.i play baseball and for practice we have to jog 10 minutes straight. im a great hitter and fielder, but im not a runner. i can probably run 5 minutes straight, but to jog 10 minutes will be tough. i havent been to any practices yet because theres been 1 and i was sick that day, but my brother told me we had to jog 10 minutes straight.how fast is jogging, like how many mph?i can go 5 minutes at 6mph, but i dont know how much longer after that. also, do u guys no any quick ways to boost your stamina in like a couple days?im gon run tomorrow to see how long i can run, but i need to no how fast jogging is because i do it on a treadmill. someone please reply.

Reply from Isabella, Age 13 - 02/24/06 - IP#: 68.46.182.xxx Don't feel bad. I was on all ALL GUY soccer team last year! I was the chubbiest and the clothes were so see-through I looked terrible! Not to mention I couldn't play sports, the other team made fun of my kicks, and I just couldn't run!! I don't think I can run now, but I'm so much better and I will not give up! First try loosing just solid lbs, 5 to get started. Then tone ur arms with weights and do 10-20 crunches and/or pushups a day. Next, u want to test ur abs for progress. To do this lay flat on the floor, putting ur hands under ur lower back for support. Straighten legs best u can, point toes, and lift 6 inches, trying to hold for 15 seconds. Do the same at 12 inches. HUrts? Weak abs. Just take my advice, and now I am totally pain-free and can hold a pose for 30 sec. Good luck Brandon! PS This may sound like a lot but it gets MUCH easier after a week.
Reply from Allie, Age 16 - 02/23/06 - IP#: 152.163.101.xxx Its called plyometrics. its easy to do, its basicly running up a stair case as fast as you can. and thats one of the ways. increase your squat bench by 20% and only do 2x3. skipping for height, skipping for length. good luck! look up more online.
