Ht. 5'4", Wt. 161 - i need some ideas that WORK! i lost one pound and thats it and all i did was walk up and down stairs in my house, but on monday my school vacation is over and i have to go back to school, so i wont be able to workout after. does anybody have a really good workout to do after school that can be done at home? i know about my amount of food intake, i just need a good workout bc walking up and down my steps for an hour is only making me lose a pound and sometimes none. thank <3 =]

But anyways- after school you can still do up and down the stairs. start out small, with five or ten minutes...and add some crunches and pushups. work your way up. Better yet, if you have somewhere in your house with high ceilings where you won't break anything or outside if it is warm enough- you can jump rope. Jump roping is great cardio and is good for your thighs, calves, arms, and sometimes even abs! Just try it out and see how it works for you- different things work for different people.
