Ht. 5'4'', Wt. 207.5 - ugh im so frustrated ive been working out every single day for a week, except tuesday, and all ive lost is 2.5 lbs. Ive been eating nothing but yogurt, oatmeal, granola bars, lean meat on wheat, fruits, veggies and salad, and ive been drinking nothing but water. Shouldnt i have lost more weight? Of course im ok with 2.5 lbs, i mean its less then 210, at least im going somewhere..but still.
Reply from Megan, Age 14 - 03/26/06 - IP#: 67.189.52.xxx that's actually really good for one week, you dont want to over do it. Keep that pace up and you'll be losing 10lbs a month. It takes alot of patience, but trust me, it adds up fast...and is well worth it. =)
Reply from Emily, Age 13 - 03/26/06 - IP#: 71.74.5.xxx yeah...1-2 pounds is about right for one week. That's why most "fad" diets don't work because you lose weight and then you start eating normally and u gain it all back...be patient...you didn't gain it all in a week so don't expect to lose it all in a week. I'm the same way. I think that I can lose it and then I get dissappointed when I don't see immediate results...stick with it. We can all do it! We're just to impatient to realize it!
Reply from Usha, Age 15 - 03/26/06 - IP#: 207.200.154.xxx The best rate to lose weight is about 1-2 pounds a week. That way it stays off! I had a friend who lost 5 pounds in 3 days and then gained it all back in 2 days. So yeah, just keep it slow and be patiant! It won't happen overnight

Reply from Tricey, Age 13 - 03/26/06 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx i'v been doing the same as you and also only lossed 2.5lbs so what i'm doing is every week losse 2.5lbs and in four weeks i would have lossed about 10lbs so just stick with it and you'll losse more and feel better about yourself and even feel energuzed to exercise more and the more you exercise the more you losse. so good luck and stick with it!!
