Ht. 5'5", Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 130 lb - i am 5'5 and 170 lbs. I would like to lose about 40 lbs in 1 mounth and 30 days, for a certin reson, or at least trim my HUGE stomach and semi huge thighs. Ht. 5'3", Start: 165 lb, Today: 145 lb (BMI %tile: 91), Goal: 125 lb - hey everyone my name is deseray but all my friends call me dai dai i am 14 and in the eighth grade (going to be in 9th) i am 5'3/5'4 and i weigh 145 pounds(size 11/13in juniors) i lost 20 pounds last summer (i used to weigh 165) but i cant seem to get to my goal weight (125) i would realli appreciate it if sumone could give me tips on what to do i get outta school on the 12th and after that i start my summer job (which i have to walk to) and i also start going to the gym.....i realli wanna loose b4 school starts in sept. i want to at least get to a size 7/9 any tips??

No rudness or disrespect here but doctors and scientists try to determine why children are overweight and obese but the truth is that they don't know any more than we do. they try to make up this long,involved,and complicated diagnoses to figure out why we're fat! Why tell us the reasons we're fat if we know what to do to make us thin! Eat right and exercise! It just seems silly to spend thousands of dollars to make studies if people know the answer. and another thing, News reporters go around saying that lyposuction and gastric bypass surgery are in and they do not know why! Large people are trying to survive in a perfect bodied world! We're pressured to be our best look our best! an overweight person is apparently not allowed to have a big mac every once in awhile unless they want to withstand the taunting and the ridacule! Some ppl say that they dont tease overweight ppl but really all it takes is a whisper or a stare or a snicker to make somebodys day life week feel like crap!

Start: 177 lb, Today: 165 lb - I'm just posting this because i'm proud, and some very simple tips. At the beginning of the summer i weighed in at 177 pounds. I hated myself, i had this huge stomach, and it was just awful. Well over the summer i decided i wanted to try to lose weight, so i just didn't eat as much. It's all about self control. Usually i gain 10 to 20 pounds over summer, that's because when i'm bored i would just eat. Well this summer i just would go do something else if i was bored, and not snack. I just weighed myself today, expecting to see 180 or something, but to my delight i saw 165! I lost 12 pounds this summer! Self control is the key.

Uhg... I just ate so much my stomach hurts! I don't understand how I can eat so much, I don't feel hungery and there is no good food in the house but I just feel bored or just feel like eating so I stuff my face (with food I don't even like) so much my stomach hurts I can just feel it stretching. If someone has tips to like avoid the kitchen or something, I don't know... I know brushing my teeth helps sometimes but usually I just head towards the kitchen.

Today: 176 lb - Hey everyone. I am 176lbs! ahhhhhhhhh (thats aound 12 stone, 4 lbs) and that is very very heavy. B4 christmas, i started a weight loss plan and lost 14lbs, ut then christmas came, and boy i couldnt resist, and it all went out the window. I couldnt be bothered after thena nd a lot of heavy family issues came up and i really didnt have time for focusin on my weight. But this week i am startin for real and properly again. and i mean it!!I am gonna do wot i did b4 christmas, cut every single peice of junk food rap i eat inbetween meals, and just have 3 square meals. Also get back to running 3 times a week, and a little exercise plan. It really does work.I do plenty of exercise as it is as i dance professionally 3 timesa week so itz really the eatin i need 2 focus on.My mum sed if i can lose a good bit of weight by summer i can get my belly button peirced woohoooo!!!i will keep u lot posted. wish me luck!!!!

Yay! I've already lost 2 pounds (just in 1 week). I hope I can stick to it, but anyway, I have some tips for people out there who really need to lose weight: 1)WATER, WATER, WATER! Drink as much water as humanly possible. Water flushes out your system and helps to shed unwanted pounds. Also, drink a big glass of water before meals. You won't be as hungry because water fills you up. 2)Exercise - Do at least 10 minutes of cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise per day. You should start at 10 minutes, then slowly build up to 30 minutes per day. Weight training can also help because it replaces fat with muscle. 3)Eat Less/Eat Healthier - Try to cut your meal size in half (ex: instead of eating 2 burgers, eat 1. Try to cut junk food (candy, cookies, etc.) down to once a day. Try to avoid eating at fast food restaurants. If u love burgers, buy extra-lean burgers and cook at home. END OF... (view more)Yay! Well anyway I was mad fun of alot, I had friends that would stick up for me but I knew that the person teasing me was telling the truth, that I was fat. It wasnt just the people at school, my 12 yr old sis would make fun of me and my 16 yr old bro would make fun of me too, I was soo sad. I spent many nights crying and soaking my pillow over that and I knew crying about it want going to help any so I decided to do something, and that was in April 2002.
