I used to anorexic. I was 5'4 and weighed 85 pounds. I ate little to nothing and ran 3 miles a day. Now I weigh 130, more than most my friends. My body is ruined by all its gone thru and my metabolism is as slow as hell. It's not worth it people. It comes to a point where you have two roads: die or eat. Within a week of eating less than a normal person, i gained almost 15 pounds. DON'T STARVE YOURSELF.

I dont mean to be the Grinch or anything...but losing weight doesnt change who you are or how you feel about yourself. I think i learned that too late...

I just read a message saying 'will not eating at all help?' and I just wanna say to everyone no matter how desperate you are please DON'T do this, I went through a phase of bullimia and it didn't help cuz it just made me feel tired guilty and depressed. What finally made me see sense was 2 years ago when a started a new school there was this girl Ally who i has been friends with when i was little. Shes suffered from anorexia since she was nine years old, and during my first term there she got to the point where she was hospitalized, she has been back and forth to hospitals since then, the docters say she probably wont live to see her 18th birthday - she doesn't care, she told us she would rather die than be fat. At the moment 6-7 year olds clothes hang off her. Please remember this, her life has been waisted, she hasn't been to to school in 2 years, her lifes spent in hospitals or exercising endlessly. I have not seen her smile in so long.... so please no one put yourselfs through that.

HeyStill haven't started dieting... as some of you know i was planning to start on the atkins diet last week, but my dad (whos a docter) told me not to cuz it was my friends 18th yesterday and we all had a bit much to drink and if i had started it would kinda reverse the effect. Now planning to start on saturday... I got my dance mat and have been using it, but now cuz last night i had to wait 2 1/2 hours for a taxi (in rain and snow) i got hyperthermia so im not feeling to great and dont wanna move let alone exercise. I still wanna know if anyone heres tryed atkins??? Especially anyone out of america cuz Ive got menu plans - but a lot of it you can only get in america. Also still looking for diet buddies especially ppl over 180lbs.Hope everyone had a good xmas and are feeling better than meKatie

First choose the orange and then your meal plan today looked good just maybe not have the bacon because that is a lot of extra cals you dont need other then that go you and good luck and also do u do crunches and leg lifts and maybe some jumping jacks and walk the dog if you have one or take ur walkman and go for a walk just do little things that will lead up to the big excercise things. If you cant run yet thats y i say walk and it will help you a lot. also do some basic stretchs because your muscles are like a rubberband they strecth and if you keep strecthing they wll stay long and will make you look leaner so before and after excercise you should stretch and good luck again.

Listen to me now. Ok, if you are having trouble losing weight, do this. My dad cut back on his sugar for 2 weeks, no more then 10 grams, and in 2 weeks, he lost 25 pounds. I am doing the same, and in one day (with exercise) i lost 3-4 pounds. I know it sounds hard to believe, but it is true. Also cut back on your breads. Those have lots of carbohydrates and things. ----I am on my first day with no sugar, and I feel so sick and tired, but my dad says that is normal, and that will happen because your body is so used to eating lots of sugar that it just kind of freezes. *~*~*~ I really hope this works for you who are having trouble with weight loss.
