Ht. 5'4", Today: 140 lb (BMI %tile: 83), Goal: 120 lb - hey everyone soo okay im 140...5'4... and by march 1 i hope to weight 115-120..thats 20-25 pounds and i started like january 1 and i havent lost any weight but what im doin is eating cottage chese (low fat) and a fruit cup and (light) wheat toast with a lil bit of butter for breakfast and than for lunch- chumbers/ tomatoes and a nutri grian bar... dinner- 1 1/2 cup of skin/bone less chicken with veges or vege soup and chicken or salad and chicken.. thats it and snacks veges only.. and yea lotz of water but for breakfast like every other day tomato juice.. and than for excercise.. which i hate doin but it has to be done..lol.. ill run 3 miles and lift hand weights.. or do tea bo and lift hand weight.. and than i dance 2 times a week.. so i hope that this diet plan will work.. i used to do weight watchers but got sick of counting points but it worked great i lost weight and was totaly... Does anybody know where i can get a cheap pedometer and with out using a pedometer what is another way i know that i have ran i mile? Thanks for the help if you do help me and i still need some more advise for my track thing down below please please

I am betting my younger sister than I can lose atleast 10 lbs by March, when I go to Mexico. Maybe it'll help motivate me if I bet her a lot ;o) Wish me luck!

Ht. 5'11", Start: 185 lb, Today: 215 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - hey everybody. i was wondering, how many people here have gained weight between doctor's appointments? At my last one, before the summer, i was 5'9" and 185 lbs. i dont know when my next one is, but i think its soon. over the summer, i gained 20 lbs (my scale said 200, so it looks like i only gained 15, but my scale is 5 lbs. off). then in the first few weeks of school, i went up to 210 (according to my slightly innacurate scale) and i stayed the same for awile. but then, in early december, i gained another 5 lbs! so my scale says i weigh 215, but its probably really 220. fortunately, im in a growth spurt, so im now 5'10 to 5'11 (technically 5'10.5), and i can blame my weight gain on that (i heard people eat alot more during growth spurts). my mom also knows i gained weight, but she dosnt know i gained 35LBS! i hope she doensnt take it too bad (i gained 40 lbs one when i was 9 though, and she didnt take it too badly...) but anyway, i was wondering if the same thing has happened to anyone else (gaining weight between checkups). please reply!

i have some tips that have really help me that i thought some of you might like to use
jump ropes are really good!
make sure that you are dieting for yourself not for someone else
i have read alot of you say that you are to poor to buy equitment well if you need weights use the plastic milk jugde start with a small amount of water and the more
i will post more later

TRY THE SOUTH BEACH DIET!! i am on it wid my mum and i have lost 7lbs in two weeks whereas my mum has lost a stone in two weeks!! its slightly resticting for those two weeks then its easy as pie!! its really helped me! my energy levels are soaring and i feel so much better! ive got another one and a half to lose and then il b happy :) u shud try this diet

hey has anyone noticed if thier exercise rate has gone up while on break? especially since there is more time to do things, can you fit in a few hours of exercise in a day? How are you going to keep exercising and find to do it with school starting? I'm really worried that with school starting back up again, that I won't be able to keep my exercise new year resolution. :( (any suggestions are greaty apreiciated (as well as needed, lol)

Today: 280 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hi it's me again miss 280 hoping to be 140 ASAP I want to thank everyone who replied to me the first time and I want to ask you guys anyone if you've got any more suggestions to help me out I'm starting tomorrow to go mad serious on my new plan I'm going no carb two weeks and then see how that goes and either stick with it slightly restricted or go lower calories like I want to start to exersise to get results but I'm not in shape enough to do something like running 3miles a day and I want to do stuff at home but I don't have a lot of cash to buy equiptment so any suggestions or helpful hits they're appreciated.

Ok any who is or wants to be in the contest post your weight here so far linda and tag are roughly tired for this week with roughly 5 pounds lost so congradulations enless someone posts that they lost more this past week and the person not to far from there goal is I dont no because i forgot to right down peoples goal so if you are in the contest or want to be right down ur weight now and r goal weight please thanx a bunch

dig deep inside urself for motivation, that is the only person who will really drive yourself to loosing weight. In the end U can only do it for you. If you want it bad enough u will get there. There's more to loosin weight than just exercise and nurtition, its a mental battle too. Stick with it through the good the bad and the down-right ugly!!!! ~Just thought that i would put that, I need to say it to myself everyday, but i don't. Keep that in mind while you take ur journey. U can do it :)
