Hey All,I gotta confess, I haven't done as well as I know I can because I've lost my motivation a bit (just seems like being thin will never come to me, and seeing all the Thanksgiving food you're not allowed didn't help any lol). I need just a little boost... do you all have any motivational things you do to help you keep going, even when you're tempted to cheat or when in a weight loss plateau? Hey! I am Mrs. motivated! I did a fitness video (the firm) last night. I feel good. As much as i hate (and i mean really hate) geting sweaty, it feels just plain good to move my body. I kinda felt like a rusty hinge finally getting WD-40ed. :) Any whoo, I dunno Girls have a ton of pressure from magazines, movies, school, and even parents (me) to lose weight just to look better, and not feel better. I've come to this great place where I know that the "world" wants me to lose weight for beauty purposes, but i'm losing it just so that i can go shopping and not have to shop around the big tire on my tummy, that and i'm looking forward to feeling lighter. Right now i just feel heavy. Does anybody know what i'm talking about?

Ht. 5'6", Today: 173 lb (BMI %tile: 96) - Hello everyone my name is Courtney.I'm 13 and I weigh 173pounds.My mom says it is because I'm tall.My heigth is 5'6.But I worry a lot.I drink a ton of water,but a ton of cokes to.I eat veg. and fruits, but a lot of snacks to go on top.I'm very athletic,but it is really hard for me to exercis.The only time I exercis anyway is if I have to.I don't know what to do anymore.I cry a lot because my step-dad is always reminding me about my weight.I don't know what to do anymore,and if I'm sad I eat or nerves or just hungrey.So as you can tell I eat a lot.What can I do?If you have any imformation PLEASE fill free to share with me.Thank You.

Ht. 6'1", Start: 275 lb, Today: 260 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - This looks like a great site, good to share with others who know the struggle. I've been overweight my entire life, and it sucks. I've always been the fat kid, but it wasnt that big of a deal since I always had friends and was well liked by everyone. Anyways, im in grade 10 now and have finally just had ENOUGH of it. I want a girlfriend and thats just not going to happen having me being really overweight. I always thought i would be fat forever, but i've found inside the means and motivation to lose weight, and realise that yes, it can be done but i've got to work for it. When I started my war on flab in mid november i weighed in at about 275 pounds, although I am 6'1 and have a large frame and am fairly muscular (underneath the coat of fat that is lol). I don't eat too much, usually a nutrishake in the morning, some fruit for lunch then a regular dinner. I don't count calories or anything like that, i just make sure that i dont eat too much. I also lift weights and walk about 1.5 kilometers on my treadmill (i increase the distance as time goes on) everyday. I really hope that I can keep it up and stay motivated, and I wish the same for all of you too. I messed up again...I mean-I'm doing really good with drinking enough water and i have been drinking about 4 cups of green tea, i got up early and did a little tae-bo then walked to school. I had a field trip for stuco and we sat around laughing at this comedian guy that was telling us to be good leaders. Then-sadly-we went to McDonalds adn I order a McRib value meal, and an ice cream sundae-i dont know why but everyone else had ice cream adn i just kinda gave into temptation. I felt really bad afterwards too. How can I resist the temptation i get when i'm around my friends?

Hi i am a new person on this site and there are many good stories.i just bought Walk Away the pounds and lost 3 pounds in 5 days oh my god i am so exited and will keep goin on until i loose 50 pounds.anyways i think whoever wants to loose weight use the Walk Away the pounds video.

Hey Y'all. I am happy to say I am more determined than ever!! I'm back on slim-fast for time being, but as soon i find the time to finish that book, its healthy eatin all the way out. This is a promsise I swear I'm gonna try my hardest to keep, I'm gonna log on to this website for support, especially when times get rough, everyday, but I'm only getting on the computer once a day. That is going to make a real differnce in how much i'm not going to be sitting down, and instead being active. Ht. 5'8", Today: 238 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - Hey y'all well i weigh i whole lot i weigh 238 pounds and i'm 5'8 tall so it spreads evenly around my body . I started winsor pilates(first day) i'm so excited to know that i will be able to lose some inches though its hard i'm trying my best, i am also following a strict diet well not that strict but healthy. Its hard for me since i'm chubby its harder for me to do the excersises but they have modifiers for the work outs which is all good but they are still kind of hard for me. Hey basketball really got to me today because I didnt really feel to well so I tried my hardest. In gym we are weight lifting and doing taebo which will help and I cant wait to be 160 by xmas. Well Im off to do homework. BUHYE
