Listen up everybody! My mom told me something that she saw yesterday that she saw on the news. There were some athletes that were really talented at what they did. They starved themselves, and now they have curvature of the spin. Their bodies used their spines to get some energy. Can you imagine having osteoporosis at twenty-something? Don't do it. I have a friend who is bullimic and she is really skinny anyway. She is a good athlete and doesn't need to be doing this to her body. Is there any way I can stop her?

Hi, I am nina and I weigh 145 lbs (66kg). Dieting is soooo hard, and I hate it, but i really want to be thin! It is not eating fruits or veggies that bugs me, but I dont know what it is! Do you have any more dieting tips for me? I really wanna look cool, feel cool , and be cool. I eat fruit, and veggies, but i am not that active. When i am hungrey i eat, But i recently heard, that if when you are hungery, you can do something to distract yourself from the humger. Do you know any ways i can distract myself? I really want to be thin, and please give me some tips! Thanx a lot!

hi im only 13 and overweight i have 2 weeks till school and need and wont to loose weight! the thing is that i an in dance and walk and smimm and also ride my bike. im in the 100 and not close (mabey) to 200. i havent been on the scale in a while and scared to go on it.if you think or know anything that can help me please and it would mean alot. thanks

Hey, please think about eating disorters and the problems they can cause before you starve yourself. My 16 yr. old sister recently died of anorexia, and she was already 5lbs under the norm (compared to her height--5'10). She was beautiful. I miss her more than anything. So PLEASE, don't hurt yourself. And if that's not enough of a reason-- don't hurt your friends and family.

I started doing ballet when I was 5 (I just quit, becasue of sports). I am 5'10 and I weight 150lbs. When I was 13 I broke my foot and was on crutches and using a cam walker (big black stabelizing boot) for 2 months. I gained 20lbs while I was out of action. I am really active but I am not in the best shape since my accident. I could REALLY use some moral support from ppl who have gone through the weight loss thing. I haven't written in a long time. I want to know how to lose 35 pounds. I weigh 130 and i'm 4ft 11in. I feel so embarrassed when i go shopping because i have to buy big pants. And when we run a mile at school i'm pretty fast for my weight but not my height. I feel so stupid. Could someone give me any tips? By the way when are the meetings in the chat rooms? I think i have some kind of eating/body image disorder but i'm not sure what. I really hate everything about myself and sometimes i just want to die. I'm not really really overweight but to me it feels like i am, i'm 5ft 4 and weigh 148lbs and i hate it, i don't think i look that heavy cause my friends say i'm not fat. I'm obsessed with what i'm eating all the time and i hate eating but i know that i have to eat, i have tried throwing up but i couldn't and anyway i know it's really bad for you. i'm constantly thinking about how fat i am and it makesd my life hell i'm so depressed and i don't know what to do i really want to lose weight but i can't. I eat all the right stuff because i hate chocolate sweets and crisps and practically live on fruit and veg because i like them so much! i also go to the gym but i still don't lose weight.
