This week was such a mess, I did good the first 3 days and after that it went downhill, I just have to build on my will power because I give in so easily to fatty foods. I hope that I can get to 300 way before school starts back in August, i'm going to push myself, because strangely about myself, I don't mind working out, I ACTUALLY LIKE IT lol, its just when it comes to food I don't do so good. So next week i'm going back to my original plan of the special k for breakfast, sandwhich for lunch, salad for dinner, lots of water and 2 hours of exercise at the rec center, if I can build this habit for the last two weeks of school, i think I can maintain it througout the summer. By this Christmas I want to be in the 200's. My inspiration is celebrity fit club and the biggest loser, mainly the biggest loser, it helps me to keep going. so i hope everyone else is doing well!

I just cant seem to stop gaining weight. i weigh more than my older brother who is in 10th grade, and i am only in the 6th grade. It's fun if we eat together, but I feel awfully fat. I have gained another 2 pounds. What can I do? I just can't resist if he asks me to eat with him. I feel so guilty but I don't know what to do. If we stay together we'll get fat like nobody else, I'm afraid.

From *Sarah*, Age 15 - 04/22/08 - IP#: 67.163.196.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'5", Start: 151 lb, Today: 148 lb, Goal: 130 lb - i think that losing weight is SO much easier for some people than others. i know a lot of people that have lost weight, and i know its not easy for them, but it happens! reading the posts on here, some of you are saying you lose like 5-10 lbs in a month. my one friend lost 11 lbs in a month eating and working out the same as me! i swear, i am working SOOOO hard and nothing is changing. i eat only healthy foods and jog for 30 minutes day, and do occasional toning/weight training. heres what i did today, and i eat the same pretty much every day: B-fast= bowl of special k with skim (200 cal); Snack= special k snack bar (90 cal); Lunch- bag of wheat thins (160 cal); Snack= 4 peanut butter crackers (100-ish cal;) Dinner= small serving of whatever my mom makes (cal=?, but i eat small servings); Workout= 20 minute jog/walk (i usually do more); Drinks= water or iced tea(unsweetened); Someone, please tell me, what am i doing wrong?!

Now I'm to the point where it's making me angry. I want it off more than anything and I know I can do it. My biggest problem is portioning. It's not that I eat too many times a day, it's how much of it I take and what I take. I'm eating too much of the wrong kinds of food. I try to eat breakfast, but usually don't have time in the mornings (don't want to miss the bus), I usually mooch off of others at lunch, then i come home from school at three and eat a big meal, then later on have dinner. I exercise for about 90-120 minutes a day and drink two bottles of water during it. I can feel myself gaining muscle, but the fat doesn't seem to go away. The biggest reason I want to lose the weight is so I can excel in sports. This summer I am planning on trying out for the school's tennis team, and hopefully next spring I will try out for the softball team. Wish me luck!

Now, i jog for 20-30 minutes a day and really really watch what i eat. the first week, i lost a half inch (i dont have a scale so i measure my stomach). now nothing has been happening. i dont really have time to work out more than i do. hopefully i get out of this plateau somehow, and soon. i wear a size 8 currently. Do you think by mid June I could be a 6? How many inches are between pant sizes, does anyone know?
