From Rose, Age 13, female - 11/03/07 - IP#: 206.72.15.xxx I used to be about 138 pounds, and only 5ft tall but now I am 5'1.5ft tall and 103 pds. I ate healthy,I didnt cut my calories that much but I excercised for 30 minutes a day. Im in gymnastics now so I have to eat about 1800 calories a day 2 be strong enough. I feel a lot better about myself now that I weigh less. Good luck to all people trying to loose weight, I know you can do it.

The fact that we go on this site proves we want to take responsibility for oursellves and our habits. I was 165 pounds September 2006 and now it is August 2007 and I am a healthy 116 lbs. I exercised 6 days a week and ate 1400 calories a day. Lowering your calories below this can be very harmful! I used the exercise bike, walking, pilates, and tennis to make sure I was burning 600 calories on days I exercised. I allowed myself treats if they fit into my calorie countage for the day. Also I allowed myself a cheat day 1 day of the week where I could have 1800 calories and no exercise. Now I am just staying active and eating healthy smart portions. I went through my first break-up and then getting used by my ex and ended up gaining 20 pounds back, but now i'm down again. Exciting thing is i wear smaller pants now than i did in 2nd or 3rd grade...i can fit into a 16 in kids, but lol they're still long on me. p.s. i'm 5'1"

I felt huge and very unattractive, so i bought some diet pills and ate very healthy and drank a ton of water. i lost 10 lbs in 10 days, but gave up right after and gained 5lbs back. so at 220lbs i stayed until June of this year. My boyfriend of over a year dumped me. I was hopeless and instead of eating for comfort, i just couldnt eat at all. i barely ever ate. we got back together the end of July, and since June i have lost a total of 23 pounds and i owe it to my boyfriend as funny as that sounds. If he hadn't dumped me and broke my heart I never would have lost weight. now i eat more but im still losing weight, and i'm happier about my body and our relationship as a result is much stronger because i don't complain about the way i look anymore. good luck everybody if i can do it ANYONE can, i am the laziest person alive.

The worst thing you can do is frustrate over yourself by the way u look. U should set small goals each week. then u'll be more motivated and less frustrated comparing urself to a hollywood star's body.I got made fun of at school just because I was overweight. It was so embarresing!! but now im down 21 pounds lower. I am soo happy. I did it by eating smaller portions and cutting out the sugar like soda. because like white bread or most breads in ur body digest into sugar which leads to fat. u have to be careful. believe me there are many tasty healthy foods out there. just be careful and dont add ranch dressing and croutons on ur salad. u wont reach ur goals as easy. and i started to do at least 25 sit ups a day and 10 push ups in the morning and at night. ull get used to it!! good luck =]
