INstead of using sugar or artifical sweetners, uses Stevia extract. That's not a brand name! It's a natural extract from chickpea plant found at most health stores. It's completelrt 100% natural, organic, and calorie free and tasts like sugar!!! I love it in tea especiialy, ehihc I'm trying to drink mroe of cause they have tons of antioxidents. WHiel I'm thinkng about it, one your new healthy eating plan, only eat dark choc. becuase like 1-2 squares per week has a lot of antioxidents and is SOO delicious. so much beter thank milk chocolate nutritiounally! Making the switch may seem hard at first, but I promose you won't be able to go back once you starr! :0) Start with at least 60% coca and work your way up to 70%-80%. Happy munching. feel free to post messages here with questions any time of day. I can be your weight loss buddy!

I don't take pills, follow some whack diet, or discourage food groups. I simply focus on what my body needs to stay healthy at this age. That means following the food pryamid and eating lots of healthy food. This makes me feel strong, confident and healthy that I'm using the earth's great gift of food with respect and purpose-to fuel my body-not to stuff my face! I also watch my portion sizes. Don't go super-crazy(what you eat is a lot mroe important than how much). The sample meal paln leater on will show you what I mean. Making afew simple switches also helps. 2% milk or lower, lowfast cheese, lowfat sour cream, Smart Balance buttery spread instead of butter or olive oil, whole wheat and/or whole grain bread, stuff like that. I'm in middle school and everyday at the end of the week, we have to run in PE. We have to run a mile. The week before, I ran my mile in 13 min. and 43 sec. But when I ran today, I ran my mile in 10 min. and 53 sec. I don't know how I did it, but I am so proud of myself. Also, I've been changing my snacks to healthier ones like apples and bananas. I'm so happy and trying to keep up what I'm doing.

I'll admit I had a few slices of bread and oil...but this week I've been feeling so hungry that I wanted to make sure I was getting enough food, and now a s my period is winding down, I feel much less hungry. Like, I didn't have anyything between my afterschool snack and dinner. Also, I splurged and had 4 candy corns and a small slice of birthday cake, but you know what, oh well! I'll live! A healthy diet means you can indulge once in a while! Like, I can't remmeber the last time I had cake OR coke. LOL.
