I'm getting weighed in school this month (or possibly next month) and I'm terrified. Never once have I been weighed at school without some idiot in the background looking over my shoulder and laughing at my weight. I'm on a diet now and I'm losing a lot of weight but I'm still going to dread this experience. How can I get through this?

Hey i hope this helps...The only real way to lose weight safely it to eat healthier and exercise. It may seem like this is said so many times but it is true. Rapid weight loss might give you immediate results, but your harming your body. Your metabolism usually slows down if you cut down your calorie intake below 1200 calories. And since you are depriving yourself of foods you want (and need), your bound to binge on them later. When you lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, once you start eating normally again, you gain the weight back + more because your metabolism is so slow... Hi, I'm 15 years old and weigh 132. I quess it's ok considering I am 5'7". I used to weight 144 and at one time 149. I've been wating better and have lost some weight. I still hate the way I look. I think I have big thighs which i hate.. And it seems that my tummy is growing too.. Yes, I do sposrts and have a good amount of muscle but i really hate looking at all the skinny girls in school. I'm doing a lot of exercising (cardio and weight training) and I have a reduced calorie diet averging about 1300 calories, why can't I lose weight? The scale has not budged and instead has decided to go up! help! There has to be a better excuse than just gaining muscle, right?

hello, well i have been checking this site out for a while now, i must say that it's great that so many people ARE LOSING WEIGHT, IA M 260 LBS FOR RIGHT NOW. I REALLY WANT AND NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT . i weigh 145 pounds and a hight of 5 6. if i eat low fat or no fat food can i lose 30 pounds by july? i would eat only 20 grams of fat at the most! has n e one done this? i need sum motavation too! how can i not eat easter candy candy!

I've just started my "losing weight plan" today so this is how I went.. tell me how u think I did.. I ate 1250 Calories and about 16.3 grams of fat (I ate no junk food)and like 8 glasses of water or more..and I did 10min running 7min skipping then a whole bunch of toning... but anyways my basic plan for my new diet thing is this.. tell me what you think and how much I will lose =DFor FOOD I am trying to make it a good variety of food (yogurt, fruit 2 go snacks, granola bars, fruit, veggies, fish, bread, etc.) and am aiming to eat 1200-1400 calories a day. For EXERCISE: Monday- I have gym in school for an hour Tuesday- I am gonna think of some kind of exercise for 30 minutes (dancing, swimming, biking, etc.) Wednesday- Gym in School- 1hour Thursday: Gym in School-1hour Friday&Saturday: I will think of my own thing to do and Sunday: My day of rest :) For TONING: I am doing the following...
