Hi does anyone think I can lose wieght by just walking 20 minutes and doing 15 or more push-ups and 30 crunches everyday and drinking more water and eating mor vegetables, fruits and grains?

Ht. 5'2", Today: 267 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - Hey this is my 1st time coming 2 this site and it seems ok. m 5'2 and weigth 267 lbs. I've tried diets b 4 with my whole family and i lost a good 15 lbs, But then my family went off it and so did I, so i gained the weight back and then some. I've always been rather heavy and its really starting 2 effect me now because i have a bone disorder that makes it a bit hard 2 walk far distances. But now I am having alot of trouble walking short distances because of my weight and im sick of it.I really need 2 lose the weight so im going 2 come to this site and others 4 support. Ht. 5'5", Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 90) - my doctor told me today that i'm not overweight, but i'm at risk. i'm 5'5" (yea i grew...lol) and 155lbs. She circled "heavy child" and told me I needed to up my exercise and eat very healthy. I'm already a vegan and I'm trying to lose. I guess this will maybe help cuz I feel obligated to lose because I don't want to disappoint anyone else or myself. I even have a "check up" to re-weigh myself in 3 months! Any advice?

Start: 170 lb, Today: 155 lb, Goal: 135 lb - well- i gained 2 pounds from being bad for a week so i'm back at it and 155 pounds- i want to be 150 in the next two weeks. i'm back doing taebo and i've been having 250 calories for my breakfast and lunch and a 200 cal. snack and a 500 calorie dinner. i make sure that i have a lot of veggetables. i've only lost 15 pounds so far but i'm almost halfway to my goal weight. i want to weight 130-135. i know i can do it and that anyone else can too. stop makeing excuses and going from one diet to the next stixk with just one and workout to speed up your metabolism and be sure that you cheat every now and again so that you don't just stop the whole diet. i have a cheat day every sunday(my weigh in day)so that i'm freah and excited to work hard again for monday. good luck and oh yeah- taebo rules!

is anorexia just a "very low cal diet", or is it more of a mind thing? like is it when people hardly eat or is it when ppl are very obsessed with what they eat and how they exercise, and dieting? cuz i dont have a very low cal diet but im pretty obsessed about dieting and exercising. someone help!

followed the advice some of you all gave and just finished TaeBo. wow, what a workout! it was EXTREMEly difficult but i definately feel really good. :0) also all the work makes me crave more water, which is a very good thing. i totally recommend TaeBo!!

I have tried so many diets i cant even imagine... weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Slim Fast, stop eating, and etc.. nothing ever works! there is this one time during the summer when ifirst came to this site when i lost 6 lbs in 2 days everyone was motivating me, and i was doing so good i got down to like 206 and now i am like almost 230! I am so depressed and sad, and there is this guy that is so nice and he even admitted he liked me for me and not my body. but i wanan look good when i meet him if i do which will be in July, and then all my ffriends are skinny, i wanna be able to run fast look good get guys play softball better, and so much more! I am now like i said ranging from 215-230 lbs and need major help! I am 5'6 or 5'7 and have six months to take off 100 lbs I wanna look awesome for the summer, and then my aunt I want my acne to go away too, which i will control after... (view more)

If it is any help to anyone, drinking a things of water really helps. You'll have to pee alot(not to get to personal) at first and it reall gets on your nerves but it really helps alot!
