Hey, i know I haven't posted in a while, well, I haven't really lost any weight either. Well, I lost about 4 pounds in 3 days but I don't think that counts because I was really sick but then I put it straight back on. Proves the theory that you shouldn't starve yourself! Anyway, summer's coming and it's inspiring me to get back to the diet, so I bought a mini portable cycle thing and I'm going to use it while watching TV! Instant exercise... I bought it and didn't tell anyone. And then it just happened to come in the mail on the day when EVERYONE was home! "What's in the parcel?" Nothing... lol. They still don't know. I had to screw it altogether in my bedroom. I can't believe that I am actually excited to do some exercise! Tell me this a year ago and I'd never have believed you. Wish me luck! Great. Friday I have a potluck at school, then a party at a friend's, on Saturday is our 8th grade graduation/mass/party/potluk, then on Sunday i'm going to my grandmas (grandmas always have treats) then to a twins baseball game... (peanuts, crackerjacks, hotdogs -_-)........I am trying to loose a few last pounds before going on my 8th grade class trip to D.C on the 16th. (There's going to be a swimming pool and i wanna look good)
ooo...man. I'm worried. :( does anyone have any tips, or exercises, or just anything that might help me achieve my goals?

ii am ii think right now 140 lbs nd ii think im 5'3 idn exactly. . .my mom , my dad, nd my sis said i lost weight nd various people.. .but i didnt but i think i jus grew sOo i kinda slimmed out from da summer . . dis summer i want to loose alot of weight but t0o get to a healthy standard . . because wen ii go bak to school in september i wanna show off lol. . . i mean i dont look really really big its just my main focus is my stomach nd all of dat area l0l my thys i guess arnt that bad but there like i guess big lol but not that big. .

I read in Glamour magazine that you should sleep like 7-9 hours and it helps your metabolism. I am gonna try getting more sleep, good luck guys.

i am 13 and i am ADHD and i have to take meds i gained 20 lb scence on them it sucks but they are helping me

hey i red sumwhere that a 24 hour detox where u eat nout but fruit nd veg iz reli gud if ur jst tryin 2 nock a few pounds, lk 2 or 3 4 mebe. so guna giv that a go this sat c how that goes, i only wana drop 2 or 3 lbs b4 skwl. shall tell y'all how it goes gud luck peeps xxx

ookay..well im around 5'5 adn i weight 152 pounnds. i dont look fat or chubby i just weigh alot adn i dont know why. i am starting high school in the fall adn i want to get down to at least 135. arouind 120 would be my goal but i dont think that will happen. i have trouble beacuse sometimes my scale says im 155 then it will say im 157..and everyday after i run on a treadmill or ride a bike it says i gained weight or i weight more than i did before i exercised. help!

Hello all, I'm obviously new here and I want to finally do something about my weight before I become really overweight. I just finished my senior year in high school so I think this transition to college will be a fantastic time to shed the pounds.
I am 5'3 and I weigh in at 146.. The calculator says that I'm at risk of becoming overweight...I really hope I can get some help and help others here as well. I'm not trying to become some skeleton, because for goodness sake, we ladies are supposed to have some curves! But I'd like to lose a little bit in the tummy area. I work part time at a local grocery store as a stocker, so I get one heck of a work-out several times a week... For my arms and legs at least.
So I'm wondering, 'crunches' or 'sit-ups', will they do the trick. I've heard that it is a strain on your back, but have any of you done them with success? Also, I've been... (view more)
