Hello everyone. My name is Jackie. I've been here a couple of times. I am 5'1 and I weigh 140 lbs. Over summer vacation I had gotten down to 132 lbs, but I don't know what happened. I just gained it all back. I've been trying to loose it again, and then more, but I haven't been able to. I have the motivation, just not the dicipline. I want to loose 10 pounds by the new year, and 25 pounds by summer vacation. If anyone has any tips that can help me dicipline myself and be less lazy and get up and excersize, I would simply LOVE to hear them! Thanks everyone!

My b-day is in 13 days and Im going to the mall with some friends and I look better than i use to Im so excited Im still overweight but im just happy i lost some of it. Im totaly ready but Thanksgiving is really close and I can't eat because of my high cholesterol and Im going to have to have steamed food but my mom said I could have a little just not much of the Thanksgiving food well write me soon love ya Amanda

thank u for all of ur suggestions!!! i have joined a basketball team so i could get more exersice but still have fun!!!! i eat in porportions which is totally enough for me!!!! I HAVE LOST 20 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR ALL THE ADVICE. it was soooooo nice

Do you think if I just worked on my diet, but only do a little bit of exercise, that I will lose weight, tomorrow I am going on an 8 mile hike, 4 up and 4 down, but besides that, I havent exercised much this week and I lost 2 pounds, because I ate a normal amount of food, not to much, and not to less. Do you guys think I can continue to lose weight by doing this. I am in pe, so I get exercise there yesterday we ran the mile and I got 7minutes and 45 seconds, but I use to walk for an hour and a half everyday, but I ate alot. so I didnt lose much. Please reply!

hey guys, i dont know if i did very good..but i dont think its too bad. breakfast-mini wheats, lunch-half of a turkey and swiss sandwich w/miracle whip, fruit n nut bar (140 cals) half a peach, and 5 ritz crackers. Snack, popcorn (about 60 cals) and a special k bar-90 cals. I had basketball practice, but we didnt run all that much. And for dinner, im gonna have some chicken or a bunless burger or meatloaf or something along those lines. so how did i do??

Does anyone know what kind of foods help you lose weight? I know that cabbage, bell pepper, grapefruit, and green tea do but are there any others?
