hi. i think i need to lose weight around the tigh area. can anyone recommend the best ways of losing some weight? Or does anyone know how I can grow a litlle taller? thankx a bunch. rYanne.

im trying to lose weight but it's hard i'm 5'8 and weigh 202lb i can't stop eating food my parents are a goodie two shoes they praticle give me treats for doing simple stuff like taking out the trash to passing them the salt.can any one help me

Okay, I'm one of the 'oldies' on this board (I've been on here for about 2 and a half years) and it has helped me, but I also struggle with some issues that are hidden behind everything that I can hide them behind. I've told no one, and I'm not about to tell anyone I know. I've lost about 30 pounds so far in the past 2 years, and i really need and want to lose about 20 more. Here are my problems which I have realized: I am compulsive and obsessive about my body. It's either eating or exercising, usually both, and I also have a poor body image, and I can look in the mirror one minute, see myself as pretty, look in the mirror the next second, and see myself as the ugliest thing in the world, and it doesn't help now that almost all my friends are getting boyfriends, and I just feel left out and not wanted. This is definately one of my low points, but I don't want to have them at all. Anybody have any suggestions?

Hi my names Crystalle Elizabeth I'm 16 I am 5'8" and i wiegh 140 lbs. I'm going to be a senior in high school this year and its really important (to me) that I look good for my last year of high school. I started at 153 cut all the junk food out and exercised a lot and use slim fast to get to 140 but i still want to lose about 15-20 lbs before i get back into school. Not only that but prom is gunna be coming up. So please please help me!!! Thanks in advance!~! And good luck to the rest of you. P.S. if you must know the reason why i stoped my frist diet is because my coaches and parents were concerned but now theyre concerned that i would gain the weight back. I'm also annoyed wit this diet because its very hard to maintain a good exercise schedule in the summer in NJ...

i have a question if i walk on a treadmill for 30 min. or more and 30 min on the stationary bike and some other exercises for thighs,arms,and some other stuff...(adds up to 1 hr. and a half) and eat like a cup of cerial for breakfast and a salad for lunch and whatever i normaly eat for dinner just less would i lose weight faster????

Hey everyone if you really want to lose weight try doing the slim fast diet. I went from 220lbs to 198. (I need to lose about 40 more pounds) But anyways after a couple of days it is really easy. Goodluck to everyone!Lauren

I am going to college in a little while and I definitely need to lose weight. I was thinking about drinking a whole lot of water and eating a whole lot less. What do you guys think? Will walking a half hour a day help me too? Whatever I do I want to keep doing it in order to keep losing weight in college as well as keep it off. By the way I need to lose about 40 or 50 lbs. I'm about 200-210 lbs. Please help.

if u want to have fat then have it but if u want skinny get that, just dont put ppl down b/c there fat or skinyy. personally i want to lose 20lbs b4 aug. 24 (thats when school starts). Good luck to all:):)

Hey!I don't mean to be or sound rude but...People are asking how to lose weight. First cut off junk food. Sure you're going get cravings and if you slip up it's okay no biggie. Not trying to sound rude but you can't lose weight eating the same stuff and the same amount.Do a little exercise. Half an hour a day is a great start. Most importantly BE CONFIDENT, BE PATIENT, AND MOST OF ALL DO IT FOR YOURSELF. Don't do it to get a guy/girl. Do it for your health and so you can feel better about yourself.
