I'M HAPPY SO FAR BECAUSE I PUT ON 28 POUNDS IN 5 MONTHS
AND I'VE BEEN TRYING ON AND OFF FOR 2 MONTHS TOO LOSE THE WEIGHT I PUT ON I'VE LOST 16 POUNDS SO FAR!!!!! I'M 102 NOW THE HORRIBLE FLABBY TUMMY ISN'T GONE YET BUT I'VE LOST 7 INCHES IN MY TUMMY ALREADY ABOUT 4 MORE TO GO AND MY BUM HAS STRETCH MARKS FROM WHEN I PUT ON THAT WEIGHT MY BUM WAS 37 INCNCHES ITS NOW
33 1/2 OH MY TUMMY IS NOW 29!!!
MORE WEIGHT TO GO HAVE TO GET INTO SHAPE AND FAST!!!

Hi, I am 15 years old and I feel very overweight. School will be starting again in a little over a month, and through that time I would like to loose 10-15 pounds. I have already lost 12 so the next ten and going to be the hardest. Right now I am 5'7 and 135lbs. That might not sounds big, but all my friends are so tiny. I think that 10lbs more would really help me out during this next school year. My stomach and thighs are the hardest areas for me. I also play a lot of sports so I run or walk 6.4km a day, but it doesnt seem to work. If you would like to be a e-mail buddy I would really appreciate the support. Thanks

Hello, I just found this board and thought I might be able to get a little bit of help/reassurance. I was reading the posts and several times heard about email weight loss buddies and this might be a great idea for me to lose weight. I am 5' 9" and I weigh about 185. I want to get down to around 165-170 before September and would like a buddy to help with support/motivation. My aim sn is RicheyRacing

hi there. i am 5'11 and 220lbs. i might sound normal, but i am not in any way. the doc says that if i lose 30 or more pounds then i could be up to normal weight. but all i can ever do is eat to deal with my depression. i am gaining weight every day and i need help. i have tried lifting weights and everything. here is another thing, i play sports non-stop. every second that i get. if anyone has any tips or good meals to have then please respond. thanx

I have a problem. I've played football ever since I was 7. I've never had a problem staying in shape. Earlier this year I blew out my knee. Then I was 5'10 and weighed 170 lb. (body fat percentage being 10%) but since I couldn't participate in sports anymore, I started to gain weight. I could tell a difference within just a couple of months. I could see my six pack turning into a big pile of flab. Now, I'm 5'11 and I weigh about 200 lbs. I've gained several inches in my waist. I can even wear my dad's clothes. I can probably play football in the fall, but I don't know if I can get back to where I was before. If anyone has any ideas to help me get back in shape, I'd really appreciate it.

Are you addicted to carbohydrates (ex. breads,cereals,cookies)? If so, I just read an internet article the other day that could help you out. It said that by eating food such as meat, cheese, eggs, and low-carb.veges (ex. broccoli, celery, lettuce)and by drinking A LOT of water, you could lose significant amounts of weight. I personally, always would prefer toast and cereal in the morning over eggs, but this low-fat and high sugar diet, presents a large problem. Most likely, it's the reason for so many people being overweight. Though I'm a definite carb-addict,I've cut down significantly on my carb-intake, and have lost around 5 pounds in the last 4 weeks, bringing me down to 140 lbs. I have a small problem that I need some advice on. I'm 5'9" and 142 pounds, which I know is not overweight. I can never wear a two-piece bathing suit though, because my stomach has always been a problem. Every part of my body is thin except my stomach, and it's really aggravating; below my navel there's just like this sudden bulge of fat. Everyday I run @ least a mile, play tennis for an average of 90 minutes, weight lift, and do a series of various stomach crunches. I did just start with the running though, which has been very exhausting. From my excercise, the only thing I can conclude is that I have a large stomach because of my diet. My typical daily eating involves a bowl of cereal (ex. Special K) for breakfast, a turkey sandwhich and an apple for lunch, yogurt or jello for snack, and than a small, healthy dinner. I never eat @ night. WHAT ELSE COULD I DO, OR HOW COULD I EAT DIFFERENTLY, TO MINIMIZE THE FAT ON MY LOWER-STOMACH? I know I'm not just overreacting or imagining this, so please reply; this is so important to me.

Hi. I'm 5'4" and weigh 189 lbs. I have been overweight my entire life and really want to lose some weight. I've tried before but haven't been able to commit to any one plan. IVE BEEN READING THE MESSAGES THAT PEOPLE HAVE LEFT ON HERE. I COULDNT SEEM 2 HELP NOTICE THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE LOOKING 4 QUICK WAYS 2 LOSE WEIGHT. I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE WANT 2 LOSE WEIGHT FAST BUT WHEN U THINK ABOUT IT ITS A BIT RIDICULOUS. U CAN ONLY SAFELY LOSE 1-2LBS A WEEK. THE REST IS WATER OR EVEN MUSCLE. UNLESS U WANT 2 DO YOURSELF DAMAGE THEN I SUGGEST U ALL TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT YOURSELVES AND REALIZE THAT YOU CANNOT LOSE ALL OF YOUR WEIGHT OVERNIGHT.
