Well it has been a year and I decided to join weight watchers with my mom. IT IS GREAT! I started eating right and exersising for 30-60 min everyday. Now I am 168 lbs and I am so happy woth myself. If I can do it ou can do it. I still have 13 more lbs to go but I am so happy with myself. Don't let anyone get you down! :)

I have lost ten pounds just by eating only when I'm hungry, walking, joining a walking club, and avoiding sweets. I also purchased a portable cd player. You would be surprised how much your favorite music will help you forget your exercising..... SAY THIS EVERYDAY: I CAN DO IT !!! I WILL DO IT!!! IT IS POSSIBLE!! I look forward to more sucess stories
From Sammy, Age 12, female - 05/07/05 - IP#: 24.236.241.xxx I have lost close to 10 pounds now. All I did was exercise everyday but Saturdays and cut out most junk food. The only thing I allow myself to have that is really full of caleries and fat is a baby sized low fat ice cream cone on Fridays or Saturdays. Everyday, in the morning, I would pack little bags full of fruits, such as grapes, strawberries, blueberries, etc. and raw vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli with a low fat dip. This way, when I got hungry, I could just reach in the refrigerator and grab a bag. It's acutally a lot easier to reach for junk food when you don't feel like preparing a healthy snack. It has really helped when it comes to chosing healthy food. Also, I talked to my mom, and when she buys junk food, she hides it in a place I don't know or wouldn't look when reaching for a snack. This has also helped because I forget very easily that we even have junk food in the house. So, well, there are some tips for you if you are looking for more ways to eat healthier.

From kia, Age 12, female - 04/29/05 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx hi,i was 125 and i lost 15 lbs in a week i had took one weekend and i ran a track 20 times.and did sit ups ever night and only at fruits,salads with light salad dressing,veggies and water no soda at alland known i weigh 105 in just 2 months and i still do sit ups every night to keep the weight off.and i eat what i want to eat but not alot of it.and if you don't have transportation to get to a track run up and down your steps and ten times after every meal.

Can you believe it???/ I first limited myself to 1500 calories until i lost quite a lot of fat, than i did a lot of weight training and as of current i weight 126 Lbs. and im 11 % body Fat, its awesome to overcome my obesity, but even though i reached my goal i still would like to work harder to better improve myself, everyone should remember that there is always room to improve =)

I was within the normal range, however, probably until I was about 15,but i started facing some peer pressure and some issues that i just couldn't face so i began to become very lazy and have low self esteem...i realized tho once i became 170 lbs that i needed to do something i started to worry about my health..and am so determined to lose weight not only to feel good but to look good..and to be able to wear whats fashionable low rise jeans...so i began to eat less and eat mostly fruits and vegetables...and drink lots and lots of water!!! you definately need to drink lots of it. it really helps you...and i began to work out on my treadmill for atleast an hour every day and i also went to the gym and did the elliptical machine now i am down to 158lbs..and i couldnt be happier...i am still continuing to lose weight and it is very exciting. it may take u awhile to see results but in the end its worth it. so all i can say to you is dont give up you can achieve anything u set ur mind to :D
