Well its been a week and my diet and exercise routine has been okay (slipped a few chocolates here and there). I find myself completly motivated--I dont know, but something is different this time--I am totally serious about losing weight. However, my mother isnt the best supporter she keeps telling me "you're just gonna give up after 2 weeks or so." I know she cares but her lack of encouragement is really starting to crush my spirit. Please, anyone, remind me why im doing this or offer a little motivation--I could really use it now. Thanks

You guys know that commercial that says if you eat 3 servings of dairy a day that you lose weight around your middle? IT doesn't work for me b/c I drink skim milk, eat cheese and yogurt, and I still have tons of fat on my stomach, it is annoying!

hey you guys.. my spring break starts tomorrow!!! im gonna work my but off !! i plan to lose three to four pounds.. heres how.. im gonna run ten miles a day i know its alot but its five in the morning five at night then im gonna watch what i eat but not too much because i need the energy but the energy i get is gonna come from good nutritious foods for breakfast i was planning on having a smoothie which has yogurt fruit milk and ice in it it tastes soooo good.. for lunch i was gonna have a sandwhich with peanut butter and jelly and water melon for desert and then dinner i was gonna have what ever my parents made but watching the fat amount and portions... does that sound good do you think i need to adjust anything calorie wise right now it is physically possible for me to run ten miles a day so thats not a problem just the calories im not good at.... and if there are adjustments needed can you give me some suggestions.. i really appreciate yall reading my posts and responding for those that do THANKS!!!

i ate- breakfast: apple cinnamon waffle with a little butter lunch: 6 inch veggie sub, grapes snack: 3/8 slices of an apple dinner: toasted cheese sandwich, meatless spaghetti dessert: cheese & crackers, and 5 triscits I also had like 6 tic-tacs today.. How'd I do? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Everyone who has a problem with figuring out how long to jog-- i figured something uot last night when i went jogging. I dont own a watch and i dont jog on a track and im so lazy that if it were up to me i woudl walk the whole time. SO what i did was every other song i would jog. Walk one, jog one. It was good, and it worked me out! I feel rejovinated (SP!)!!! Quick question- should i do this every night? is that not a good idea. It took me like 1/2 hour to do, little more. Ive heard the whole muscle needs time to rest and grow theory, is that true? So how often should i go joggin per week? THANKS!
