I have just started my diet... but i am 150 now and need to loose 50 pounds. Im trying to eat healtheyer, and starting with cutting out the snacks and junk food. Eatting a helthey lunch, and for dinner not eatting as much. 8 :00 snack i want to get rid of but its hard so im gragually giving it up well thats all.. OH WAIT i forgot.. im keeping a journal too about how much i eat and what i did and stuff like that! i hope it works :-/

wow...i remember coming here a while back. anyways..its been a year now since i've commited to losing weight. i've done it at a gradual pace, and so far i've went from 186 lbs to 136 lbs, 50 lbs! i still want to lose about 11 lbs to i can be a nice 125 lbs. eating right, drinking water and exercising, three essential things. if anyone wants help, e-mail me @ princesskaryn85@cox.net good luck all!

Hey guys! I'm 14 years old and I'm 5'9. I weigh 159 and I've been trying so hard to lose weight for summer. I hang out with a bunch of incredibly skinny people, so I feel like I have no one to talk to about this! I would really like some advice about how to lose weight quickly! Summer is coming and I really want to be able to look good in a bathing suit! So anyone have any advice?

This is not about me. I need help too, but it's my 7 year old brother that weighs 110 lbs and is only 4'4". He has a BMI of 28.7 and is supposed to weigh 68 lbs, that makes him 42 lbs overwieght. Is that obese??? He just eats and plays Playstation. He never does his chores. When we eat dinner he eats more than me and I'm almost twice his age!! On incident I remamber is when my dad made burgers and fries, I had one and a 1/2 and a spoonful of fries, while James, had 3 burgers, 4 spoons of fries, and 2 slices of cake after (which I didn't want). I have heard yellin some nights from the kitchen. Dad to James, I think he was down there eating fattening food. I need help, my Dad tries to make him diet, but my mom lets him eat, and eat, and eat ect. Plz Help!!!

Hey everyone I have a tip that helped me lose weight...when your on a diet if one day you cheat or binge on something dont treat it like the end of the diet it was just a slip up remember your goals and dont feel you need to quit the diet from one or two mistakes.

Okay I made up my own diet plan: I wake up a half hour early in the morning to exercise i walk/run and jump on the tramopline do crunches and squats Then I have a slim fast drink or bar for breakfast Then while im in school I take a lunch with me that consists of a sandwich and a bottle of water (do not skip ANY MEALS it makes u more hungry) When I ge home, if I'm hungry I eat some celery or carrots with low-fat dressing Then I do whatever school work i need to do and then i either dance or jump on my trampoline Then I eat whatever my mom makes because she eats very healthy so if ur parents dont eat healthy u can replace whatever they eat with something good for you. Then itry to hold back from dessert and drink a lot of water. Exercise: you can either use the trampoline or if u dont have one jumping ropes are awesome...light weights are good... Ahh! Did anyone read that article in 'Teen people' I think about that plus sized modle who was *so* pretty and she killed herself? She used to be fat, but then she lost weight and people liked her and she discoverd that they only liked her becuase she looked pretty. Isn't our world a sad one ? :(

Good news everyone! I got a trampoline!! It's so much fun to bounce. My parents made a deal with me though. I have to jump for 15 minutes a day. It gets really tiring, but I turn on the radio or listen to my cd player. Also, now that its a lot warmer outside, I go outside and kick my soccer ball at the stairs everyday. The stairs "pass" the ball back. Speaking of the weather, swimsuit season is coming up. Oh how I hate pulling on a swim suit that shows every detail in your body. Ugh! Well, this year I'm going to this camp and I want to be thinner by then. Hopefully I'll be able to wear a bikini infront of my seriously fit best friend. Crunches, crunches, crunches is all I'll be doing until the last two weeks of July. Proportion wise I'm not doing well, but I've been drinking lots of water.
