Ht. 5'4", Wt. 323 - Hello My name is Lencha. I was never overweight when i was younger but ever since i entered middle school I had a real big urge to eat A LOT. I think I eat like six times more then any other kid during lunch. I'm in highschool now and it is a time for meeting of new people. SO far i've met no one and have only had rude remarks thrown at me. The second day of school was definatly of the worst days in my life. Our school has plastic old chairs so when i went do sit down the chair just CRACKED and it made a loud noise, and when i stood up the chair was barely holding on. I really am trying to stop eating so much but with all these restaurants and stuff it's really hard too. Driving down the street is especially the hardest since there's always a good juicy burger waiting for you...it's making me hungry just thinking about it. :(I really need some support and i wish the rest of you the best of luck on your diets. thanks for listening to me. goodbye.

Ht. 5'9, Wt. 200 - Alright-- My new approach.. Okay I was told a pound is 3500 calories... and we are supposed to get like 1200-1600 cals per day... 10 pounds = 1 dress size.. so... I decided today I will do what I've always told everyone not to.. I shall calorie count..I am kinda hopeing I eat wayyy over 1200 so Ican cut it and lose weight that way.. but I dunno if I am. So wish me luck today. But, so far I'm up to 330 cals.. Because I ate a piece of toast with some butter... and I drank some milk.. crazy huh. lol anyhow just thought I'd tell ya'll what I'm doing.. I'll post later tonight how many calories I comsumed today. Also, Why does everyone say not to drink Diet soda??

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 170-ish - Hey guys, I went to the doctor on Friday and I decided to bring up my weight issue....My mom has Diabetes so she was worrie that I might end up having it. The doctor told me a lot of good tips but I have no motivation....I really want to lose weight but it's really hard with what is in my house. I have no will power! Like, if there is a candy bar in the fridge, I'll see it and be like "no, I don't need it....", then 10 minutes later I come back and eat it! It gets so annoying and I really don't know what to do. Any advice helps....

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 180 - Hey, y'all! I just figured out how to work on those fatty bits under the arms. I hate them! What you do is you take some hand weights (I use three-pound ones), and you put your arms by your sides. Then you lift them straight up so you make a T with your body. Then, move your arms out in front of you at the same level. Then, keeping them relatively straight, lift them up over your head. Then put them back to in front of you, then back out to the T position thing, then put them down by your sides. So basically once you get them over your head, reverse the motion and do the opposite of what you did. If that is to complicated, just do the first parts: make a T, put them in front of you, go back to the T, then put them down. Or you could even just make the T and put them down again. Whatever you do, make sure you do... (view more)Ht. 5'6, Wt. 180 - Hey, y'all! I just figured out how to work on those fatty bits under the arms. I hate them! Whatever you do, make sure you do at least ten repetitions, depending on the difficulty. Also, remember that the slower you go, the harder it is, but the better the workout is that you get! Added tip: Has anyone heard of the "horse position"? It's a martial art thing. You spread your legs out and kind of half squat so your knees are right above your ankles. don't go farther. I like to get into the position while I do weightlifting with my arms so I get a bun and thight workout as well. It is hard, but it takes practice. Good luck! (view less)

Ht. 5'8", Wt. 185 - I've had a weight problem for about 2 years now , I was orignally 155 and really really fit and athletic , in the off season (Dec.-June) I had gained 20 pounds bringing me to 175 and by the try out before summer for the next year i didnt make the team because of my gain , so that summer i sat around all summer and ate and ate and i got up to 198 pounds by july , i worked out the rest of the summer until i was 160 , but much less fit than i was at 155 , after a month or so i got stuck in my old habits and was up to 180 again by that october , and by november i was 190 , since then ive only managed to lose 5 pounds over the past year with a lot of gains and losses since then . how can i quickly shed all this weight and get fit again ?
