Ht. 5'4", Start: 191 lb, Today: 144 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 130 lb - Hello everyone, Its been years since ive come on this site, and just like everyone else i constantly have struggled with my weight, depression and stress. Slowly throughout the years I have brought my weight down. But as a normal human being I slip and fall off the tracks once in awhile. I see there are alot of you on here struggling and or just want some motivation. I know how you feel! I completely 100% believe we become addicted to sugar & FOOD. We are ALL human and its stressful & emotional challenging. Remember everyone if we would have stuck to our "healthy eating" & gym routines 6 months ago we would have been alot closer then we are today. BUT that also applies to 6 months from now, once we commit and get motivated. So remember your not alone, in any situation, your not the only one in the world. Any excercise is better than none. And SMILE SMILE SMILE you never know who's day you're making, stay positive and keep moving forward! I promise you we'll all get there eventually(: good luck everyone, and have a wonderful wonderful week(:

Ht. 5'10", Start: 410 lb, Today: 430 lb (BMI: 62), Goal: 250 lb - Hey everybody, I posted here back in November and a couple times after that. I can't stick to any diet and my fiancée and my family tell me I'm OK like I am. But now I REALLY need some advice. My fiancée and I are going to get married on May 3 and I need to loose weight fast. We went to see about clothes on Saturday and my finacee wants me and my best man and ushers (my brothers) to wear gray and when I tried stuff on I look like the Goodyear blimp, it didn't help that nothing fit and the places we went (3) said they'd have to make my suit to special order, real expensive. So, I GOTTA LOSE WEIGHT FAST. I've been checking out the Body by Vi challenge. Has anybody done it? Does it work? Please let me know. Thanks.

Ht. 169 cm, Start: 85 kg, Today: 83 kg (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 60 kg - So I'm going to start a diet again today. It feels like year after year, month after month this is the only goal I can't succeed at. I need encouragement, so I decided to join this site to keep track of my progress. My birthday is less than a month away and I know I'm going to feel like crap if I'm still at the same weight. Any thoughts on juice fasting? (Note: 169 cm, 83 kg is 5'7", 183 lb.)

Ht. 5'5", Start: 235 lb, Today: 235 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 120 lb - So now that I'm 18 my parents have agreed to take me to a weight loss resort next week in Mexico, that I've been wanting to go forever. I will be having full body smart lipo and a full tummy tuck. I can't wait to show off my new body this summer after these two procedures! I just wished my parents would have allowed me to do it sooner.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 232 lb, Today: 217 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Ok, So doing good so far. The idea is to eat something different and not the same old thing. That was my problem before. I'm on the low carb low sugar diet (Jorge Cruise: Belly Fat Cure) I recommend that. That's how i've been losing weight. Anyways, I was eating the same old stuff day after day because I didn't know what else to cook or make. For breakfast now, I'll have 2 scrambled eggs, 4 slices turkey bacon & like cheese stick or 1/4 cup avocado. Or an omelet with turkey bacon, cheddar cheese and spinach in it. It's good. Have to wake up earlier to make it though. Dinner - Crispy Chicken parmesan & Zucchini Cheese fries. Something like that and for a treat an atkins coconut chocolate bar...it has 1g sugar and 1g carb. it's been working for me! :) New year new beginnings right?

Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 130 lb (BMI: 22), Goal: 127 lb - Hi everyone! So, I'm seeing a lot of people who are struggling to lose weight and are trying to figure out where to start. I struggled all of my life with weight, and just recently made the switch to a healthy life style about 2 years ago. However, I haven't forgotten how utterly difficult and impossible the process seemed at times. Losing weight is hard. No one can deny that. However, there are 2 things that I found helpful when starting my journey: 1) Put yourself on an eating schedule. If you don't do anything else, do that. It will give you some semblance of self control. Try eating every 2 hours at first (breakfast, 2 hours later a snack, 2 hours later lunch, etc). In between that 2 hours, don't allow yourself to snack. It will give you a chance to get used to not snacking constantly, and make you aware of when you are and aren't hungry. Gradually, you... Gradually, you will be able to go longer. 2) Buy healthy foods. Even today, I struggle with eating unhealthy food if it's in the house. It's MUCH easier to have self control for an hour when grocery shopping than for the month or so the food is in the house. Try healthy snacking, like fruit, yogurt, and almonds. Once you start the process you will find being healthy is getting easier. I wish you ALL luck on your journey. Don't give up, and NEVER be ashamed that you are trying to lose weight. Incorporate others to hold you accountable and support/push you. Really, if it's a matter of your health and your happiness, it's worth the effort. (view less)

My girlfriend keeps telling me I don't need to lose weight, can any of your ladies here tell me why? I thought ladies didn't like bug fat guys.

I am unable to get around and don't have many friends, I have mobility issues and can't take care of myself, I want to be able to talk to someone else I can be honest with who is going through the same thing? Male or female. It's is hard to feel like anyone will ever want to be close to the body I have.
