So far I have been doing the calorie diet and I've lost 7 pounds. Its really hard for me and frustrating because I dont know which diet to do! Ive been told that the low card, low fat, and low calorie diets are best, but with so many options I dont know which one to choose. Im getting really discouraged and could use some help ASAP! if you have ANY and i mean ANY advice for me please let me know.-OMI

Ht. 5'2", Start: 265 lb, Today: 232 lb (BMI: 42), Goal: 135 lb - So i'm 2 pounds down and i've been in school for 3 weeks. It's kind of annoying because i've been workingout so much and so hard almost everyday and i felt like 2 pounds just wasn't good enough. But i am happy that some weight is coming of while i'm in school eating here is so hard because of all the fast food, but i've been staying away from it and controling my emotional eating. It's hard but my goal is to get down to a size 14 by the summer. Right now i can fit into a size 16 but i still wear a size 18 but it's really big on me. This is really hard but we all can do this =) good luck in everyone.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 248.5 lb, Today: 229 lb (BMI: 39), Goal: 170 lb - WHOOO-HOOO! I am down 19 1/2 pounds and I feel great! Yesterday I was able to put on a pair of jeans that I haven't fit into in about 8 months. Although I am losing weight, and choosing healthier choices, I feel like my habit of eating just because it tastes good is finding its way back into my life. So I need to really concentrate on waiting until I am hungry to eat and only eat until I am full, not full to the point of sickness. I strongly feel that watching Biggest Loser and I Used To Be Fat is a real motivation for me, well, that and the fact I feel better, look better and love better. I think I am starting to love myself more and with that I can love my boyfriend not more but better because I am not so self-conscience. My Mom told me the other day that my Dad was really proud of me and he drags about the fact I get up and exercise every morning. I am... (view more)WHOOO-HOOO! I am definitely not taking it as oh, my dad loves me more if I was thin, I know that he is just happy to see me making myself healthier, especially because of my heart condition. So all in all I am a lot happier, a lot healthier and almost 20 pounds lighter!!! :) I hope everyone is feeling happier, healthier and lighter! Good luck :) (view less)

Ht. 5'2", Start: 249 lb, Today: 249 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 130 lb - Okay...soooo, I've been on here before. I'm assuming the people on here are all trying to lose weight so we're supposed to motivate each other? idk. But i'm UBER fat, so i should probably start trying to change that. i'm going to college in the fall, and i REALLY don't wanna look huge in a place where i'm supposed to start fresh. so the countdown begins....and hopefully i'll shed the weight fast. i'd love to hear some support if you guys have any. I'm new here, so sorry if i'm not doing this right. lol

I've always been healthy councious and loved fitness and sports and weighed a healthy 130lbs my entire life. Unfortunately, following some health problems which landed me in & out of the hospital for 5 years (with stays as long as 8 consecutive months) and on up to 13 different medications at one time, I ended up gaining a whopping 107lbs! It was quite devestating and I was extremely self concious. However, I'm slowly getting back on track as I have now lost 92 of those pounds! Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 150 lb - so it's been getting easier to avoid the scale. as much as i'd like to know what i've lost, i'm fine with seeing the difference in how my clothes fit me. my work uniform is gettin looser everytime i put them on. (i only work twice a week because of college, so i notice a difference every 5 days or so when i go to work). this weekend wasn't the greatest though.. kind of fell off the wagon so today i did 80 minutes of aerobics. i am SO sore, but it was worth it. i feel like i undid some damage. this week i'm going to go at it 100% and stay under 1400 calories and work out at least 4 days (30 mins minimum). Hope everyones doing awesome!

Ht. 5'4", Start: 248.5 lb, Today: 235.5 lb (BMI: 40), Goal: 170 lb - Okay...my writing has slowed down now that school has started but I am still on track. I have lost 13 pounds and although I don't really see myself getting smaller I do feel a lot better. I used to get heartburn really bad but for the last month I have not. Umm...getting up in the morning and working out is getting a lot easier and I plan on upping my time from 30 minutes to 40 minutes on February 1st. I wanted to work out once in the morning then once at night but after I get home from school I am exhausted its very hard to stay up past 8pm. So overall I am still in good spirits about losing this weight and I hope everyone else is too. Good luck to all!!!

Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 123.4 lb (BMI: 23), Goal: 115 lb - Under 10 pounds to my goal weight, woohoo! So I pretty much maintained at 127-128 from Thanksgiving-New Year's, and it's only been since I've come back from my vacation 3 wks ago that I've really gone back to my normal meal plan. I've had this on and off again sickness for about 2 weeks now - can't figure out what it is, symptoms keep changing, lol - I'm thinking it was a cold and now it's strep =/, so I've been taking in a lot of tea and water which has probably helped me drop some of the weight, I dunno. I'd like to get better though so I can start running again. There's another 5k in April I'd like to run. My husband and I are also planning on joining a gym in February to start getting toned for summer so I'm excited about that too. Hope everyone got through the holidays unscathed and is doing well with their efforts =).

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 150 lb - so still no clue what my weight truly is, but man have i been noticing a difference in my looks. my face looks a lot thinner, my collarbones (which normally stick out quite a bit) are even more obvious, as are my ribs and my hip bones. i just wish my friggen stomach fat would hurry up and go away. I'm apple shaped, so i carry most of my weight in my upper body, so its the hardest place for me to lose it. but obviously as i've lost weight over the last 3 years i've become more hour-glass shaped. i don't have a gut at all, my stomach is really flat its just flabby as all hell and its really soft mushy fat so when you wear anything remotely tight it shows lovehandles. One day theyll be gone lol So, what i've been doing is eating 4-5 small meals throughout the day, staying under 1500 calories (i usually stick to 1300-1400) and working out doing Dance aerobics for 35-50 minutes 3-4 days a... Ht. 5'2", Start: 265 lb, Today: 244 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 135 lb - Hey everyone, i've been doing insanity for the past month and a half. All i can say it woooooooooo insane workout it's amazing lol. I don't know how much weight i've lost but i have lost 3 inches of my arms, tummy, thighs, and hips combined. Not so much but an inch off is great for me especially in my hips. I have been eating little portions 3 to 4 times a day and drinking alot of water. My winter break is done and i'm a little scared to go back to campus but i know i can do this. I'll post up here my new weight soon lets hope it's 230 or lower =.... BTW keep going everyone this gets hard but as long as we keep our head high and take it one day at a time nothing can stop us from being the best we can be thanks =)

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 150 lb - So for about... 3 weeks give or take i've been pretty serious about this weight loss thing. i've been trying to keep under 1500 calories a day and working out approximately 30-45 mins every other day. I have REFUSED to step on the scale until February 1st so i have no idea what my weight is... I used to weigh myself multiple times a day but thats so discouraging. If i dont see results i lose motivation and give up. so far so good though. i cracked down a little more the last few days because i wanted to really commit instead of just doing things as they come. I notice my stomach has gone down quite a bit and clothes are feeling looser. I can't wait to see where I'm at in February. Keep up the good work guys, and lets liven this friggen board up! its so dead!
