Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 129.6 lb (BMI: 24), Goal: 115 lb - 3 weeks until my first 5k! I'm so excited and really hoping I can hit my target of running it in 30 minutes. I've decided that my immediate weight loss goal is 125 by Thanksgiving. I'll be trying to maintain during the holidays and lose those last 10 pounds after the New Year. Hope everyone's doing well!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 150 lb - ugh. so i've gained 10 pounds over the last 4 months or so. GREAT. My eating has been out of control lately. for the past 2 weeks i've told myself, okay starting today... then i do awesome all day and when night time hits, i binge. like craaaazy. I need to fix this before i balloon up to 200 pounds or something. I've written out a diet plan and will follow it over the next 8 weeks, hopefully losing 15 pounds by then (i'd even be happy with 10 pounds). I'm starting college in January and I really don't want to go into that feeling like pure crap and having low self esteem because i've packed on the pounds. Hopefully this works, i'm determined now. Good luck guys!

Just thought I'd let you all know, in case you're interested =).

Ht. 5'4", Start: 220 lb, Today: 193 lb (BMI: 33), Goal: 145 lb - Hey everyone! I recently made the decision that I want to lose this weight and get into shape (I need to be at least under 160 lbs) and enlist into the Air Force. I'm really excited for that, but I need to buckle down and really work at it. It's a great motivator.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 149 lb, Today: 152 lb (BMI %tile: 86), Goal: 125 lb - So school started, and for the first 3 weeks I got down to 140, I was super excited everyone was complimenting me on my figure and how good I looked. I hated the compliments, I didn't want to gain the weight back. Then I got voted onto homecoming court. Me on homecoming court, I was s excited and I granted it all to the fact I lost 20 pounds. I got the cute tight fighting dress and all. But that wednesday, 2 days before homecoming, I started binging again, and beating myself up again which lead to more binging, I gained 3 pounds on homecoming night, luckily the dressed still fit. That weekend I kept binging and beating myself up over it. I have been trying to suppress this for a month, but now I have gained 12 pounds, and I just don't know why I still overeat when I have the oppurtunity t say NO!! I guess maybe subconciously I do not think... I guess maybe subconciously I do not think I deserve to be skinny. Maybe I sabotage myself, or maybe it is the stress, or the vacant emptiness I feel when I do not have food to comfort me. I blame my parents for buying the food, but what will happen when I get to college? Will I still have this problem? (view less)

Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 134 lb (BMI: 25), Goal: 115 lb - So I'm still training for the Thanksgiving 5k this year. I've increased the distance that I walk/jog, but I'm not really feeling my stamina building. When I run, I'm still going the same speed and I can do about the same distance before I have to walk for a bit. The only thing I'm noticing is that I start to catch my breath more quickly when I'm walking so there's less time between my walk:run ratio. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to help better my time (I'd like to make it a 30min. 5k)/increase stamina? Hope all's well with everyone!

Ht. 5'7", Start: 340 lb, Today: 340 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 250 lb - Hey everyone! I used to come here a long time ago but haven't been in forever. What I'm ultimately looking for is someone - age, gender, etc don't matter - who has about 100 pounds to lose or more who would be interested in being "diet buddies." I just need a little support. If you're interested, let me know & we can exchange emails. Please be willing to be in contact a few times a week. Thanks!

Ht. 5'9", Start: 200 lb, Today: 187.6 lb (BMI %tile: 90), Goal: 120 lb - - You're my worst enemy. You're my best friend. You judge me everyday. You're no means to an end. I step on you all the time. But somehow you always put me in my place. You're there for the good times, and the bad. You've seen me at my best, at my worst. At my past, at my present. You've become family to me. Something to depend on. When everything else cracks. You stand strong. this is a poem I wrote weight loss to be broad and a weigh scale to be specific

Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 135 lb (BMI: 26), Goal: 115 lb - 135 lbs. as of this morning. It's great to be able to see my successes and failures on an open forum - I'm more accountable that way. Over the weekend, my husband and I went to a couple of other stores where I tried on clothing to see where I'm at (haven't bought anything new in a REALLY long time). Found out I most comfortably fit into size 5-7 jeans/trousers and s/m tops. Good news for my upcoming shopping expedition =)...bring on the Thanksgiving sales!! I never thought I'd get to this point and still don't really feel like I'm there (brain hasn't caught up with my weight loss yet, I suppose), but if you're struggling, don't give up - it's such a 'worth it' feeling later on.
