Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 26), Goal: 155 lb - okay soo, i havent been on here since september 1st, and as a result i got off track. i was at around 163-165 and now im back up to 170. but its not a huuuuge deal, cause im cracking down again. i just really wanna be in the 150s for christmas. even 159 will suffice lol im so tired of this yoyo dieting thing. well its not really a diet, i just eat healthy and workout then completely fall off the wagon. it sucks. but not anymore. i moved back in to my parents mid september (i was living on my own with my ex, but we broke up so since being back here i just gave up) but i have a new bf now who is completely and utterly amazing and im so happy, its time to have the body to match. wish me luck, and i hope you all reach your goals

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 167.5 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - So I went home for the weekend and didn't do ANY exercise :(..there was just so much other stuff I wanted to do and had to get done that I couldn't find the time. But today it's back to the gym for me. It's so frustrating its been almost a month now and I feel like I've made no progress!! Yet I've been working out every single day and trying to eat better at school. A few years ago I was at my all-time highest weight (187) and have lost almost 20 lbs since but at the time I wasn't even really TRYING to lose weight, it just happened over time. Now that I am actually trying, I'm not getting anywhere...this is usually the point where I get discouraged and quit, so I'm really trying to work through this and stay motivated...any advice? good luck everyone!!

I discovered this website recently and thought I would give it a try, I just started college about 2 months ago and that 'freshman 15' thing has turned into the freshman 27 for me! Yes I have gained 27 pounds in two months. We have an unlimited meal plan and I have used it and abused it unfourtunatly. It's just so convinient. And not only do I over do it in the cafeteria, I am constantly eating in my room. It doesn't help that my roommate loves food and is overweight herself, so we are always buying snack and ordering pizza together. I'm not super stressed or anything I have just developed this love for food and I cannot seem to get enough. I eat until I'm satisfied and that seems to be when I'm stuffed to the brim. But I denied for awhile because none of my friends seem to have a problem gaining. Until I went to put on a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in awhile and couldn't button... (view more)Hey all! But I denied for awhile because none of my friends seem to have a problem gaining. Until I went to put on a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in awhile and couldn't button them. So I went to the gym and weighed myself. I was 185 when I came here and now weigh 212. I mean I've always been overweight but when I went past 200 and gained 27 pounds in 2 months I realized I need to do something. But it's gunna be so hard with the new life I have created for myself. Which is filling my tray at mealtimes and then coming back to my room and snacking constantly, then repeating it all over again. Ugh. So any tips on avoiding gaining more while in this college atmosphere?! Thanks! (view less)

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - Well I haven't worked out since Thursday because my boyfriend came to visit and we were traveling all weekend. So not only did I not get a workout, but I also didn't do too well eating either...but I'm trying not to let 1 weekend bring me down. I'm getting back on track today. I plan on going to the gym and doing 10 miles on the bike (burns 300 calories using the programs that I do) and then some weight machines. I'm still having trouble finding healthy foods at school aside from the salad bar, which gets extremely dull meal after meal. I did buy some SmartOnes meals though, which are only about 250 calories each so that is a good alternative once in a while. I hope everyone is doing well! Good luck :)

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - maybe it's just my imagination but it seems like some of my clothes are starting to fit a little better :). i just got back from the gym. i did 2 programs on the bike (hill program -- 20 min, 200 calories burned, interval program, 20 min, 100 calories burned). I skipped the weights today because I did my weight training yesterday. I'm taking a few days off from running/walking because I have shin splints and I don't want to make it any worse, which is very annoying. I had never really done the bike before though, and I actually had a lot of fun! Can't wait to finally see my results on the scale in a few weeks!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - Does anyone else have any other ideas of what I can do at the gym? We have a very small gym, only a few tred mills, a few elipticals and bikes, and weight machines, plus a track. I also do jazzercise every other week (that's when it is offered) and that burns about 480 calories per session..I don't know any workout routines for the bike or eliptical, like what settings to use to get good results and stuff. If anyone could help that would be great!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 31), Goal: 130 lb - Hey everyone! I'm so excited to start out losing weight. I've never actually been this motivated to lose weight. Usually I will go to the gym for 2-3 days, and then quit, but this time things are very different. First of all, this is the first time in 2 years that I've had a schedule that allows time for me to get to the gym and still have some time for myself. The last couple of years I have been trying to fit work and school and homework and getting enough sleep, but it just never seemed like there were enough hours in the day! Not to mention all of the unhealthy college food that there is to choose from every night! I'm really dedicated this time though. I walked 3 miles on the track at my gym tonight, and for the past 2 weeks I have been alternating between this routine and walking 1 mile + 45 minutes of weight machines (usually 2 sets of 12-20 reps on each machine).
