Ht. 5'5", Start: 147 lb, Today: 146 lb (BMI %tile: 85), Goal: 125 lb - Any ideas on how to avoid sugary foods? I can't think of anything but resisting the temptation, which most of the time i can't do. I'm guessing all of you guys had the urge to eat candy and didn't stop to think about what it would do to you, right. Today at school I had a dollar extra for school and they were selling cookies and i bought two without even considering that I was on a diet, when I finally realized that I was on a diet, I'd already finished both, and then I cussed out loud and got a referral, sadly.

I'm using November as a month to get myself together and prove to my family and friends I can do it. I'm aiming to lose 50 pounds by June 2012. Can you believe the advrage teen watches TV for 2-3 hours?! I toke that time yesterday and played soccer and ran with my brothers and sisters and I felt a heck of alot better then being lazy and watching That 70's Show. Anyways, everyone, wish me luck! By December, I plan to lose 2-3 pounds. And, I made a vow that I will NEVER go back to 170lbs again! Thanks for reading and good luck on your weight loss!

This is my first time joining a blog of some sort It's pretty exciting, and so is my first step toward losing weight :) I initially weighed 130 my soohmore year, but after a surgery and emotional eating ive packed on a whole 65 pounds! And realized its just as filling! No more binge eating, I go walking instead of raiding the fridge! I cant wait for the New Year! My goal weight, in 49 days, is to be 150lbs. Last year i stayed with my grandparents for 7 months because my mom had to go abroad. I didn't watch my weight at all there and they spoiled me with all sorts of candy and chocolate (you know how grandparents are :P). I was basicly a lazy couch potato there and my weight shot up with 60 lbs :( i wish i could turn back time because i always was pretty slim and now i have this big belly and none of my old clothes fit me anymore. I get out of breath much easier and i really want to do somethjing about it. Any one have an idea want kind of diet i must take? And how long will it take to reach my goal? Oh and one more thing, which i am really ashamed of: i have little man boobs, will they be gone aswell, because people have been making fun of me :( greets Casey

If I do this for 1 hour 6 days a week, how long do you think it will take for me to tone up my arms? Aren't I doing it right I've stuck to one thing all week and a half. I ate less sugar and chips and I feel really fat right now. I go to gym everyday and I work on jumping jacks, I jumped some rope and I even worked out my body, everyday since I started on here. Now either I'm being impatient, because I am known for that or I'm just not doing it right. Can someone help me, please!

Ht. 5'5", Start: 157 lb, Today: 148 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 120 lb - still having problems with my scale. I just started going to this new fitness place called XSport. It's great! They have a great variety of exercises you can do including a pool and rock climbing wall! And they have different classes including hot yoga, cycling, kick boxing and aerobics! I've been going for a few days and I'm doing great. My favorite exercises are the stairmaster and the rowing machine. You also get a free consultation with a nutritionist and personal trainer. I would definitely recommend it! I also learned that you can burn a lot of calories playing music! So practicing cello and piano everyday are paying off....Great! I'm going to have swim gym next semester and I really want to lose a bunch of weight so I'm not embarrassed in my swimsuit. That's all I've got for now. Bye bye!
