well today i was supposed to start counting my claories i was gonna eat 1,416 cause thats how much a website said i shouold eat to lose weight but when i woke up i had breakfast which was 620 calories almost half of the calories i should of ate today but i know im goin over cause i didnt even eat easter dinner yet well i guess ill start tomorrow (yeah right i allways say that) Love Chelsea

Hi, this is my 1st time here. I am 15 and used to weigh 165 lbs., but know i weigh 145. I'm having a very hard time looseing more. The way I lost 20 lbs. is by giving meat up for lent. I think im going to continue not eating meat and become a vegetarian. Does anyone have any tips on becoming a vegetarian or a vegan?

I know, im sorry, this is my third post in a row-- But i want to make my goals heard to everyone! Ok, Im 17 middle sized frame and tall, 5'9". When i started coming here i weighed 76kg(167lbs) and it took me a looooooong time to start doing something other then giving advice. But now with the good weather i have no excuse, thats why i went running this evening. anyway, my goal is to get down to 60kg(132) sometime soon. I figure i can manage that in a few months. So thats a total goal of 16kg or like 35lbs. Ive lost 2 so far, so Im at 74kg! Yay. SO now you all know! Lots of love, and to all you, i totally wouldnt have started any of this without you!!! OMG!!!! i just got on the scale for the first time since the middle of Lent, so that was like 3 weeks ago, and Ive lost 2 kilos!!! Thats like 4.5 or so pounds!! haha, you have NO IDEA how happy i am. I have NEVER in all my diet and exercise history actually seen weight loss!!! YAY!!! soo happy. Ok, i just got back from my jog, I was out for 45 minutes, and i found a nice route to take. I alternated between jogging and walking, but i didnt stop at all, cept once to check out a really long worm (it had been raining before :) ) . It felt so good, cuz even though I was all sweaty and tired out and my calfs hurt, i know it it good for me!! Omg, so now, i dont feel so scared, after loosing 2 kilos, my goal of 15 really doesnt seem that big, espeically now cuz im gonna do this jogging thing! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! omg, Im so excited, im starting my jogging regimine(sp) today!! I googled "beginner jogger" and got a great site with an 8 week plan for the beginner, and thats what i am. at the end of 8 weeks you are supposed to be able to run 2 miles without stopping or being outta breath. Its for 5 days everyweek, two days of rest to let muscles repair themselves and whatnot. Im very excited. Im going to Paris in 7 weeks, so Im starting today with the last day of week 1, since week one is just walking and i already do that alot. Ive heard that runninf or jogging is like the best possible way to get in shape, so ill start and hopefully it will become part of my life! Wish me luck, im about to go out for my first run!

-Sorry I ask so many questions lol. But umm is being a vegatarian for a week unhealthy, cus if it is i wont do it. I just always wondered if i could go atleast a week without meat. If its unhealthy i wont do it. One more question, is there ever a time where its to late to excercise? Cus sumtimes me and my mom go out and excercise around 7pm and 8pm. Since your metabolism slows up around that time, is it bad to excercise around that time? THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS, I APPRECIATE IT.

Since Lent is now over, I can have what I gave up (candy and ice cream). But so far, its 12 o clock and I've already has about 10 pieces of candy! Now I can't stop and I'm going to gain the weight I lost back soo quick! How can I stop these urges of chocolate, that are now running through my veins once again!!!!!

I feel like such a pig. For the past few days I was doing good eating healthy and was getting like 2 hours of exercise a day. Then yesterday I had to eat a burger and fries with my friends. On top of that I had a bunch of sweets and this morning all my little cousins were over for easter and ofcourse there was chocolate--so whats the first thibg I ate this morning--a stupid chocolate bunny and some jelly beans. Guys, this has really crushed my motivation--why isnt easy to just say "no" to those tempting foods?

Okay, I just posted something but I forgot to say my problem. Okay, well I have a fast metabolism. In other words, I can loose about 4-5 lbs in 2 days and not gain them back by eating regularly. But I always seem to loose those 5 lbs and then have a binge. Its so annoying and I just want to loose like 10 lbs. Any advice?

Well, I deffinitly ate more than I ever ate. I'm stuffed and I don't think I want to see food again. Stinkin holidays can ruien diets. But you know what? Forgive and forget! Oh well, I'll resume tomorrow. Anyone know if eating grapefruits really does help aid weight loss?
