ive been labeled the 'fat' kid in school for years now and i know that technically i am...but i want that to change. im 160 lbs. and im hoping to lose about 30 lbs. im not worried at how long it might take, in the end, i want to feel comfortable and confident about myself. HELP?!

I have a question.. i usually go to the gym about 4-5 times a week, but i ahven't been able to work out for like 5 days,a dn today i did just a video at home by denise austin... do you think that will have the same effect as like 30 min of cardio at the gym and 15 min of weight lifting?

Like I told Shannon, I found out the secret to weight loss. Well at least I think its it. Just avoid bad foods. I wanted some chocolate 2day but u know what I did? I walked away. Just walk away. Then i eventually 4got about the chocolate and im glad I did. Im looking 4ward to lunch cuz im having this really good soup my mom made. Its healthy too. Whatever she makes is healthy. Xcept 4 that pie she made last night. Didn't know my secret but 2day I figured it out.

Hey people. I am here to give some tips to help you lose weight. To build more muscle eat protein and complex carbs. Protein is in all meat but be careful about fatty meat and red meat. And complex carbs are found in vegetables, cereals, breads, and pastas. Make sure the bread and pasta is either low-carb or whole grain. And on the pasta dont use oily or fatty toppings. Theses things bulid muscle and when you have more mucsle mass and tone then u burn more calories through out the day even when resting! This is very true. So everyone good luck!

ugh i feel like such a loser and a failure. This weekend was so horrible. i was at my friends house and all i did was eat and eat crap. i think i gained like 5 or MORE lbs. I dont know what to do i feel so fat and hopeless. but i am guess i am going to have to start over from where i left at but with way more weight to lose. please help thaks

hey guys,i really need ur helptheres only like a week left until the end of the semester...and at my school, a new semester means 4 all new classes, and the end of 4 old ones, so i want to have a great end to the semester so i need to lose like 10 pounds in a week. and im really open to anything. and yea i know that not eating is unhealthy but its really important...and after i lose the quick 10 pounds i will lose the rest of the wieght i need to lose by eating healthy and excercising. thanks for the help

I have been on virtually every diet you can name. I see an ad in a magazine and then try it the next day. I usually last for about a week before i give in to hunger. On the atkins i lasted for three weeks and five days and lost 6lbs. I expected more as i had to cut out my favoutite food..bread. It gave me horrible breath and was not the worth the trouble it caused. I went on the cabbage soup diet and lasted 6 days and lost five pounds. That was water weight though and was just pointless because i gained it all back again when i upped my calorie intake. It is based on eating 1200 cals a day in the first phase and then gradually increasing it. In the thrid phase (maintenance) you eat like 2500-3000 cals a day!! You never feel hungry and the exercise plan is cool too, only half an hour three times a week so thats like four days off!!! Good or what? Today I actually started my diet. Plz wish me good luck. But I know I can do it. I beleive in myself. So no1 give up and you will reach your goal. And no crash diets cuz everyone knows those dont work unless you stick to them 4 the rest of your life and that could cause serious health problems.
