Ht. 5'4", Start: 200 lb, Today: 184 lb (BMI %tile: 97), Goal: 130 lb - Hi, my story starts back in july of 2008 when i decided that i wasn't hea;thy and wanted to lose weight. With the help of God and Jillian Michaels i lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks. Thats good right? well then as soon as school started i didn't lose anything. I was stuck. This July it will be one year since i have stated and i have only lost 15- 20 lbs. I need help! I am gonna start the South Beach Diet, to see if that will help. I would love to be at least 152 before school starts in august... if yu have any advice, please email me at zacefronchica@hotmail.com.

Ht. 5'5", Start: 163 lb, Today: 142 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 125 lb - You know what I figured out? It might sound stupid, but it's the closest i've ever come to an epiphany. Ok, here it is; I was thinking to myself, wow, i'm really fat. I can't even fit into the shorts I just got. That's really actually very depressing. Then, I had the sudden urge to go get a fudgsicle, even though we had just had lunch 10 minutes ago and I was really full. Right after I thought that, it hit me. I wasn't hungry. That was my epiphany. Eating isn't supposed to be meant the way that overweight and obese people use it. It's not some kind of coping mechanism, it's a way of keeping your body ALIVE. Not your solution to boredom or like me, being fat. So, I've been thinking lately before I pick up a piece of food, Am I hungry? Do I really need this, or am I just bored or upset? It usually works :) Like I said, might sound crazy but It's working for... (view more)You know what I figured out? It might sound stupid, but it's the closest i've ever come to an epiphany. I'm not weird or anything, but I was getting really depressed one day while looking at a teen vouge, and I saw all the skinny, pretty girls, and I thought, 'Inspiration!'. So I got out some scissors and cut out every skinny girl I could find and every hot guy(im having trouble with guys right now.) I'm not lesbian or anything, that's not what they were for, It's just inspiration. Is that really weird? I wasn't sure. Thanks. (view less)

Parents: Buy healthy food for your children! Don't buy that absurdly delicious fatty crap. And if you're children are overweight, approach the subject gently. Children don't like hearing they're fat. If you're not careful, you'll just be like the kids at school- ruining their self esteem. Kids: If your parents do approach the "I think you should lose some weight" subject, be easy on them, they care about you, that's why they mention it. They just want what's best for you. And being healthy is what's best. And if your parents couldn't care less about your health, then you've got to take control and resist tempting foods-craving something sweet? You want that chocolate up in the cupboard? NO--go make a strawberry smoothie or eat an apple. Tell your parents you want healthier foods in the house, they'll most likely grant your wishes--instead just go grocery shopping with them...and be sure to keep out the bad stuff. Hope this helps :D (view less)

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI: 26), Goal: 160 lb - Hey guys! and welcome back Claire :) (i was wondering where you went!) I've been dieting and exercising minimally when i can find the time for about a week now, and ive lost 5 pounds of water/fat that i had gained. great. so back to square one. im finding it hard to get into the 160s again. i was 167 this summer but quickly shot back up (i lost it the bad way, by hardly eating due to stress and being busy) so i guess thats why it didnt stay off! oh well. ive been doing awesome with my eating. my goal is to lose minimum 1 pound per week until a wedding i have to go to in July. that will bring me to my mini goal of 160 (my ultimate goal is 145-150). does anyone find that jogging helps to lose weight? and if so, how long should i jog for? 20-30 mins? im not good with the exercise, just the eating lol anyways hope everyone is doing amazing. good luck! :)

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 174 lb (BMI %tile: 93), Goal: 140 lb - Hey, I haven't been here in ages....does anyone remember me? lol probably not. Well, I'm still 174 lbs! actually I was 175...but what's the difference. ANyway, so I've been starting to work out again. I really have to get back on track and am hoping to lose 20 lbs as soon as possible (I know it takes time but I want to take it off forever). I got down to 159 once and then shot back up again but I cannot let myself go back to 210 ever! so I'm working extra hard now to get down to atleast 160 soon and then see where it goes from there. Also, I'm reaelly inspired by the show The Biggest Loser (I LOVE this show! and I love the trainer, Bob!) it is so so inspiring to see how hard they work on that show and how much weight they lose. Anyway this got pretty long...hope everyone is doing well! remember it will take time and results don't happen overnight...keep working hard, don't lose focus and don't let anyone mess you up! take care~ :)
