Ht. 5'9", Start: 186 lb, Today: 186 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 150 lb - I've been telling myself for 3 years that I would get down to a healthy weight, and I've only gained since. Today, the last day of the year, I went clothes shopping and found myself in size 16 pants while another girl about my age was trying on size 6. This year, I'm going to lose the 40 pounds that I've put on in the past few years and be able to wear a bathing suit next year without worrying about my belly and thighs. I'm going to lose inches from my belly, be able to run, and stop eating when I'm bored. Here's to starting!

Ht. 5'1", Start: 191 lb, Today: 191 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 110 lb - The new year was supposed to be my brand new start. I was so excited. I was going to exercise everday, like i did in the summer when I lost 10 pounds. But then I woke up today and saw that it was snowing, which put me in a bad mood. I was going to go for a walk today. And I had been waiting for a week for the other snow to clear up so I could exercise.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 163 lb, Today: 155 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 115 lb - I'm stuck on this weight. Either that or i gained muscle. I can't tell by looking at myself or seeing how clothes fit so idk. I've been exercising twice a day. Once after breakfast and once before i sleep. I eat about 1000 calories a day usually, give or take some. So any tips?

Ht. 157 cm, Start: 86 kg, Today: 86 kg (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 65 kg - So today is the second day of my healthy eating and exerxise new ''lifestyle'' or in other words diet. i went to gym two days in a row and haven't had any choclates or white bread. I am feeling a lot better. Amazing what two days can do. I have never worn a bikini before in my life because i started dieting at age 6 BUT fear not i plan to in December 2009 on my matric vacation. Ht. 5'5", Start: 222 lb, Today: 222 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 222 lb - Hello! If you arent allergic to or absolutely hate nuts, i have a diet for you. You should ba a vegetarian. For everyone saying "I love meat," and "don't you need protein," hear me out. Get rid of meat! It's better for you and the animals. Meat slows down your metabolism and it's calories are harder to get rid of! Eating vegetables and beans, for protein, instead of meat, will make you feel healthier and make it easier to loose weight. Of course, you will still need to exercise, but with a faster metabolism, weight loss will come easier. Trust me. Have you ever seen an overweight deer? No, because they don't eat meat, eat a lot of vegetables, and get execise. Thanks to Danny for setting me straight on this!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 171 lb (BMI %tile: 84), Goal: 145 lb - alright so i lost 4 of the 5 pounds i gained from christmas. i think most of it was water, but for the past 4 days i have eaten within my calories and have not once cheated. (go me!) i havent lasted this long without cheating in a while. i really want to lose 7 more pounds for a wedding im going to in february (making me 164, which means im in a "normal weight range" for once. ive NEVER been in a healthy weight range) but i think i can do it at the rate im going now. i havent exercised yet but ive been working a lot and trying to fit time in to see my boyfriend. I bought these hoodia pills the other day (theyre made from a plant and they expand in your stomach to make you feel full. its 100% safe. people in other countries used to eat the plant to stay full on hunting trips that lasted 3 days so they wouldnt go hungry without food) and so far so good. normally a salad wouldnt fill me up but i had one at work today and i was completely stuffed for about 3-4 hours. i hope i can keep this up. anyways good luck everyone and good job

I just got on the elliptical and went for 30 mins and burned 225 cals....it didn't feel like 30 mins because i wacthed a show on my ipod lol i think im going for a walk because im really hot and i wanna walk some more =] i have yet to weight my self today...and i don't want to maybe ill do it later but best wishs to you all!

I went to a restaurant with some friends that are obese too but not as big as me...and we ate a lot of food. And when i got up my stomach which is normally big and squishy was big but it stuck out really far and was not as squishy. the next morning it was squishy again. why did that happen?? does that happen to anyone else
