Ht. 5'4", Start: 292 lb, Today: 291 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 180 lb - Well I got up very early I started with Yoga stretches, then I went into Strength Training and then some Cardio... I feel good... actually I'm hungry now (because I haven't eaten in a few hours...) The doctor put my father on a diet so He has fruits already cut up in the fridge so that we can just eat them when we are hungry

Ht. 5'4", Start: 181 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys, I decided that I am going to try to post to the board at least 3x's per week, it seems to help alot. So I started to seriously try to lose weight back in about mid summer, and i lost ten pounds really quickly, but then school started, so i slowed down a bit, i didnt gain any, actually i lost another five, but then i started eating ALOT again, so i gained that five lbs. back, and i havent been able to lose it, partly because i am between sports and too lazy to exersize (completely stupid of me), and partly because i havent been eating very healthy at school recently. So I am starting to eat better tomorrow, and such like that. Christmas is always a rough time for me, basicly, my mother is the only one of 8 siblings that isnt obese, so she is pretty hard an me about my weight, and we always have christmas parties w/ ALOT of food, and chocolate, and carbs, so this winter will be interesting!.so ill probably be reporting back in a couple days!

Has anyone tried home-made body wraps, or body wrap kits (with natural organic ingredients) to lose weight? Were you successful? I have been exercising regularly and eating much, much better- but my weight loss is still sluggish, which is the last thing I need right now! I'm planning on eliminating all simple-sugars (while still keeping complex carbs like whole wheat flour-based products, some of my fav. fiber one products and, of course, all of the veggies and fruits I want. NOT A LOW CARB DIET! I just feel like i'm addicted to candy and super simplistic sugars that I know are horrible for me, and i think i need a break from them to end the addiction)... Lowered my calories from probably over 3000 a day to 1600, and sometimes a bit less, depending on the day and of course the mood, aaha.the first two weeks went by perfectly, was happier of course, from being more energetic.. and by the end of the third week we had to put my dog down, so that was horrible for me considering we had her for more than half of my life. Since then, i've been slowing down on the excersise to about 14-20 minutes a night, for three nights a week.. i find that once i start a diet and im happy.. i'll slow it down BECAUSE i'm happy and think, ok well.. i did good, so i can slow down. A week later the ten pounds i lost comes back on. I find it incredibly hard to actually stick to a diet. Any suggestions on how i can lose weight preferably fast enough, without such a strict diet? throughout the three weeks i lost about 7 pounds, i would like to lose 3-5 pounds a week.. while it's easy for me and i'm not at my plateau. Any ideas are appreciated. (view less)

Oh well, i'm not going to beat myself up over it, I did well all week, i'll just start over again tomorrow, and i'll do Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred if I can't make it to the gym. Good luck everyone!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 179 lb, Today: 162 lb (BMI %tile: 81), Goal: 140 lb - I seem to be stuck! I keep having a few days of good eating where ill weigh 162 but then theres always a set back which makes me go back up to 163/4 and then i have to spend more time just getting back to 162 :( At least im not gaining weight though cos every winter i usually put on a ton of weight (last year i put on over 30lbs!) Although i have gained about 8lbs since august, im determined to get it back off and im definitley not going to let myself put any more back on! Im hoping to lose at least 5 more lbs by christmas and maintain that weight over the holiday period! Then i can focus on getting to my goal weight in the new year cos i want to look great for my 18th which is march 21st. good luck every1 x

If I get a job and/or my license soon (yes I don't have it yet lol) I am seriously going to join a gym! I'm afraid to go walking outdoors because of sicko pervs stopping and staring but that's all I have for now... anyone know where I can get a pedometer? If you don't know what it is it's a step counting apparatus. Maybe in stores that are found all over like Wal Greens or Wal Mart, CVS, GNC... Oh and I think I'm addicted to carbs... we dont have the right foods in my house so it makes it hard for me to diet! My daddy is always giving away our food or sharing it or eating it himself!
