Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 172 lb (BMI %tile: 93), Goal: 150 lb - Hey so I went to the Doctor today and she checked my weight and turns out that I lost 6 lbs! and didn't even know it. Partly because my scale at home always showed me another number (178) so I always got the wrong number but I'm so happy that I'm not thattt because that's so close to 180's and I can't let myself hit that again! this makes me feel even more motivated then ever...knowing that I'm no longer on a plateau anymoree and I can do this if I put my mind to it and concentrate rather than whine and complain that the scale keeps showing me the same old number. I hope you all are doing well, and if not...just remember that tomorrow is another day. You ALWAYS have a chance to start over! good luck

I just wanna say that some of your encouraging words from a while ago really helped me. Ht. 5'8", Start: 228 lb, Today: 198 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 150 lb - ok s i weighed myself and in the last 4 days i lost 2 pound soo im not goin to give up and im doing a 5k at the end of november its called the turkey trot so starting today im goin to start running 3 miles at 4am every day(i have to get up at 5 for school whats one hour earlier)anyway im found that the best way for me to lose weight is frozen grape and oatmeal plus im going to start postin everyday again which is hard gor me cause i never really now what to say X__X

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 171 lb (BMI %tile: 84), Goal: 150 lb - saaaweeeeeet :)! 3 days in, and i lost like 2-3 pounds already. im pretty sure it was all just water weight that i gained back. (well, not all of it, but most of it) considering i was eating a lot of salt and not drinking enough water/coffee/tea. I want to integrate more exercise into my day, but im just so busy. i work like 8 hours a day, then afterwards i want to go spend time with my boyfriend and what not. but i walked to work today, which is about a 20-25 minute walk. so that was alright. my main goal right now is to get to 165. i didnt set a date, but id really like for it to be by christmas. before would be even better lol but i have to work for it. its really not that hard to lose weight. you count your calories, and exercise if you can. i hardly ever exercise and i lost 55 pounds. so i tihnk its mainly the food thing that we need to look at. exercise can only do so much. remember guys, this whole journey is only as difficult as we make it. good luck everyone!!:) xox

Ht. 5'6", Start: 210 lb, Today: 198 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 145 lb - I used to be on this site a few years ago when I was in the 170's, then I lost about 20 pounds. I guess I'm back! I gained back 60 pounds last year and my weight keeps bouncing between 195-210, and my waist keeps going from 39 to about 44 inches -- ouch! The school nurse does body fat percentages, and today I was marked as now being in the 40-50% range, so now I plan on sticking to a diet. My problem is that I get TONS of cravings for everything. I started keeping a food journal, and my calorie range is usually 3000-4000 calories a day, but I can't stop eating when I'm full and pigging out between meals! Anyone have any tips for cravings?

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 173 lb (BMI %tile: 85), Goal: 150 lb - okay so i pretty much let myself go for like, 2 weeks. big mistake, i went from like 167 to 173. so i gained like 6 pounds. some of it is probably water weight. but yeah, im getting back on track. today i had veggie stir fry and a hard boiled egg and some cottage cheese for lunch (woke up late so i didnt have breakfast) and then i had some tofu stir fry for dinner. i only had about 800 calories today so im going to have a healthy snack later. im going to walk to and from work everyday for the next 6 days (ill be working day shifts so itll be a nice walk in the morning) and im going to drink more water and do some exercise dvds at home if i can. my main concern right now is to get back to where i was a couple weeks ago (between 166-168). i know i can do it. i just really have to stick to my guns this time. i want to be 165 by christmas (i weighed 185 last christmas so i want there to be 20 pounds difference) i think i can do it. anyways good luck everyone. resist temptation beause once u give in once, ur bound to keep on going (like i did). byee!
