Ht. 5'4", Start: 300 lb, Today: 295 lb, Goal: 220 lb - Well, fellow blubber busters, my name is Callie and I am 5'4 and I weigh....295 Pounds. I'll repeat- 295 pounds. I am extremely obese and unhappy with my health. So I decided to make a change. 2 weeks ago I started this dance workout DVD called BYou for about an hour and a half each day, and have started eating smarter. And in those 2 weeks I lost 5 pounds! It may not seem like much, but I'm so happy. The DVD gets easier to do each time, and it's fun! I have a long way to go before I reach my healthy weight, but I know I can get there. My goal is to lose 80 pounds in 10 months. I hope to share the experience with you as I continue my journey. And I just have to say that no matter what size you are you can become a healthy you. Ht. 5'8", Start: 191 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 145 lb - Okay I'm kinda new here but I have been here once before so its kinda like I'm returning. Starting tomorrow I am going on a diet. For breakfast I'm eating a Special K bar. I never have time for anything else. My school's cafeteria isn't the best for lunch (so can I have ideas) and I'll eat what my family is having but less. I haven't had any kind of soda in a while. My problem is I eat tooooo much. Any ideas for this???? And any exercise?? I haven't ran in a while but i plan on starting tomorrow. Ht. 5'3", Start: 184 lb, Today: 182 lb, Goal: 145 lb - Hey all! I've been doing this whole get healthy thing for about a week now. Eating healthy and exercise and I'm feeling great! I wanted to join the Christmas challenge so here I am posting. So by Christmas I'd like to be down to 173. So 9 pounds. I plan on doing the treadmill for 10 mins every other day and the gazelle for 20 mins on the day I don't do the treamill. I also do the ablounge every day and some simple toning exercises every other day. I also will be drinking more water and lots of fruits and veggies! Good luck to everyone else in the Christmas challenge! =D

Ht. 5'6", Start: 166 lb, Today: 159 lb, Goal: 142 lb - Hey well I'm posting just to remind everyone participating in the Challenge that it starts tomorrow. Anyone is welcome to join! Just remember to be reasonable since it is only 5 weeks and to post how you plan on dropping weight and what you will use as a motivator. I have created my calendar for the challenge. I broke up the five weeks into 3 parts. The first 2 weeks I will go to the gym Tuesday, Thurday, and Friday, and do weights on Sunday. Then for the next two weeks I will up that to four days a week of cardio and 2 of weights. and finally the last week will include 4 days of toning plus 1/2 hr of cardio. I am mixing it up to force my body to metabolize fat faster. For a diet I aim to eat as i usually do between 1350-1600 calories. Good luck everyone

It really shocked and upset me. It also made me realize that I don't want that to be ME someday becuase I'm overweight...This is tough for me right now, so please pray for her healing. Now I realize how silly it is to loose weight to look good; you should loose weight to BE HEALTHY!!!!!!
