Ht. 152 cm, Today: 75 kg (BMI %tile: 98) - Hi, I'm 12 and come from Northern Ireland.I weigh 75Kg and I'm 152cm in height. It depresses me. I was on the Atkins diet and collapsed (though I did lose quite a bit of weight!) My mum and dad are divorced so I comfort eat. I have to go to the doctors soon to tlk to them and they might keep me in hospital and suck fat out of me! I'm really scared but the more I try to lose weight, the worse I fell and I can never lose it! I get out of breath from climbing the stairs, I know that I am in majour threat, but I can't help it! I had a attack over the summer where I couldn't breath, I had to stay over night. I am soooooo scared! I've thought about killing myself, but I don't want to upset my family, what should I do? (Note: 152 cm, 75 kg is 5'0", 165 lb.)

Well, I will tell you my plan and I would like it if you would write back and tell me what you think.Ok, EXERCISE: Total Body Cardio Workout 3-5 times a week, crunchs, leg raises, push-ups-every morning. EATING/FOOD: Break-fast- Ceresl or fruit, Lunch- Sandwish or salad and yogurt,water or milk, and cookie (2), Supper- What my mom cooks. so what dod you think of it?????? Please tell me, thanks.

Hi girls, I am at a very bad point in life. When all my friends still fit into the little sizes and I'm stuck being overweight. All my friends try to make me feel better by saying you just have alotta muscle and I appreciate them sayin nice stuff, but I was wondering if you guys have any tips for weight loss, whether its diets or meal plans, but when it comes ot meal plans, try to make it simple becuz I dont wanna have to talk to my parents becuz its kind of a touchy subject and I dont really have a strong relationship with them... good luck and thank you

Ht. 5'8", Start: 185 lb, Today: 168 lb (BMI %tile: 87) - im not that over weight, i weight 168 and im 5' 8'. i used to weight 185, and i got all the way down to 159, and now im back up again, im feeling really depressed about the whole thing, and it makes it worse that i know that the reason why i gained is bacause i have been eating a crap load since my boy friend dumped me, ha ha, that is like the moste girly sounding thing i have ever written, see i dont get much ridicule about my weight because i dont have many friends that live where i do so i just stay anti-socilal and dont really talk to any one, and my friends who live else where are all punks (like me) and in the seen no one really cares about weight (or at least that is what we preece) but i see that all that punk guys want is some hot skinny prep, and they just leave the "imperfect" behind

Today: 173 lb - I am 173 now 2 pounds down from last sunday. I am going to start strangth training next week with my basketball team and I am goin to still do the cardio witht he running. So my goal is to get to 170 by next week. Do you think I could do this? Plus I am going to try harder to not eat the junky stuff that i usually do and really be on the spot to get to 170 this week.

Hey, im kind of new here and this is my first post. I dance 5 hours a week, and am starting to do the eliptical trainer for 30 minutes 4-5 times a week, since i just got one for my brithday, which is today:)From the summer of 2002 untill now, i've gained 48 pounds!!I know, its so mucnn a year and a half or so. im despritely neeeding to loose that 50 pounds or so. I really want to be healthy, not just for looks, but mostly to dance better and feel more confident and be healthier. I really need to stop eating so much because that is my mail problem. please please help me, any advice, or tips would be great. And for those who have lost around 50 pounds, who weighed 175 (or around there), and now weigh around 120-125-ish,please let me know how long it took, details bout how it felt, when you saw reasults felt better, etc and how you did it! thasnks so much, peace for life

Ok, I am getting very unmotivated. Every day I say to myself go ahead and eat those chips, you can start your diet tomorrow. well NO MORE of that! I'm gonna start TODAY no matter if i like it or not. Im tired of being fat! My goal is to lose 15 pounds by february 19th (my birthday) but if I keep on like I am I'll lose zippo or i might even gain some! well that's NOT going to happen and I'm not going to let food control my life any my life! Courtney what did you do to lose the 30 pounds? And this is what you should do to lose 15 more pounds: eat what you want just small portions and exercise 30 minutes everyday do something with your legs if you wnat to lose that fat there walk, run, bike, etc. and do 20 squats or lunges.

lol. it's me again. sorry- but i have so much time right now because every sunday i'm supposed to clean my grampa's apartment but he's away so i can't this morning. well- i finally found my accelerated pilates tape- i'm going to try it tonight. my goals for this week are as follows: no sweets- 1200 calories- as much veggies and fruits as i can eat for meals and my biggest meal at night. for my exersize: 8 min. tae bo or 20 min. of pilates alternating in the morning with 57 min. pilates or 30 min. of taebo alternating in the afternoon. this week i am going to lose two pounds and drop a few inches. i am going to do a lot better then last week even though i did opk- but the problem is that at the end of the week i do bad on my diet and at school it's hard to eat what i plan for myself but i plan to become stronger. if anyone has any advice to how i can hold on at the end of the week it is very much welcomed. thank you...and also good luck to everyone!

I used to be really overweight and all my freinds were soo much skinner then me and it really hurt then in one summer i lost lik 30 pounds now i am not one of the smaller ones i am lik probably 15 pounds more then most of the ppl in my grade and i wanna lose some weight and lose some fat in my thighs oi hate it if u have any suggestion i will be more then welcome to take them and if u need any i would be glad to give some to thanxs u.....

Dear Matt,I'm going to give you the same advice I gave to a girl on this board. Talk to someone about your worries and concerns. They will help you to see things in a clearer manner and if not, they'll find someone who can. Even if your parents aren't together, it doesn't mean they don't love you. You parents split for a good reason, they must have been unhappy, and therefore, made themselves happy by being a part. Talk to one of your parents, or even both. When you see the doctor you can talk to him, or try a teacher. I know it's stressful when you want to lose weight and it won't go away. Believe I've been there, done that and got the t-shirt!!!! Your too young to be worrying about such matter, but it doesn't stop you worrying does it? Please seek help and don't stay quiet. For some reason, a shared problem becomes a shared solution!!!If you need to vent and don't want to talk with your parents, even if I think you should. I'll always be willing to listen.
