I had pancakes, a large kiwi smoothie, cake, icecream, and one of those little 700 cal. pizzas. I know. Disgusting. But I've been riding my bike for like 5 days alot, but I blew it with all that food! :(

As soon as I got my period yesterday I think I just released all of that extra water weight and fluid! This morning i did my 40min. weight loss with yoga tape and for breakfast I had 50% less sugar oatmeal (110) made with skim milk (100), a pear (100), and a low fat yogurt (170)! I hope all you guys realize that holiday weight gain is probably mostly water from a lot of salt, almost no or no fat at all!

I have not been under 150 in quite a while. When I dieted a few months ago I could not get past there, so that is my new goal! I am going to do it and I am going to try to do it by June because I want to have a smaller dress for sixth grade graduation this year. I am going to fight off my temptations for food and excersize a lot more then usual to work off all of the extra calories. If any of you have any diet tips for me please tell me! Here I am, always working my butt off, just to lose a pound or two, and then I see my friends eating 2 slices of pizza, a pretzel, and a can of soda everyday for lunch and they're still skinny! WHY ME?!" My doctor calmed me down and told me that their metabolism must be as fast as a cheetah. (which made me laugh a little) Then I told her I wanted to weigh 125lb. by the time school ended in June, that way, when I went to the beach in July, I could look good in my bathing suit. Then she told me, that the way my body is, I could probably lose 2-3lb. a month. So, that means that my weight goal would be realistic, so I got all excited. But then she surprised me by saying, even if I didn't lose a lot of weight, but maintained it, I could still look good, because I'm growing a lot and she said that within the next few months I'll probably grow AT LEAST 4 in. (so I would be 5'5) So with that in my mind, I went home and thought about what to do. And I came up with the perfect solution. Ok, well my 13th birthday is on New Year's Eve (which I love!), so I decided I would give myself a little present. See, my New Year's resolution/ present is: 1. To try to lose weight. and 2. Have fun TRYING and to be happy with myself even if I don't lose weight. So, I'm going to try it out, and if I lose weight, then great! But if I don't, I won't run myself down! Well today I walked all around town with my aunt all day shopping and stuff and for lunch we went to Cosi I had a chicken pesto melt and veggie soup and a water, then for dinner I had a bowl of calamari stew (a delicious Italian favorite, no matter how weird it sounds!) But today I got my period I was ravenous and felt like crap later on so then I had 2 pieces of homemade eggplant parm (it wasn't breaded and baked not fried, so idk and the cheese was part skim), then I had 2 chocolate-covered gram crackers. Boo! But I resisted the 3 butter cookies we had left. I just feel so much better knowing that the extra water-weight was from my period! :0)

Although I'm not freaking out because seriously I might I have gone up to 169 or 170 okay but the rest is definitly water weight. Anyhow Mom and I trashed the rest of the cookies and today I got a fresh start. My breakfast was low sugar oatmeal made with skim milk, a pear, and a low fat yogurt and a cup of tea (to flush out the extra salt) and I'm gonna try to squeeze in my 40 min yoga tape! :0) Good luck everyone!
