Ht. 5' 6", Wt. 176 - Hi this is Allisha's friend Karissa. I kind of have a problem you see I live with my dad and all we have is each other. He worries that since I am fourteen and already dieting that I will have to see a therapist but I know that I am over weight and that I need help. I guess to my dad I look skinny because I am pretty muscular however I know that I have a very round belly and that annoys me. How can I convince my dad that I am overweight and need help.

Ht. 5'2, Wt. --- - I eat a whole lot of frozen dinners. Many people asked for my point of view on them. My absolute favorite frozen dinners of ALL TIME have to be the healthy choice Dinners! They are soooo good!!! I could eat those for the rest of my life! The vegtables are great, the meat is fantastic, and the sauces are flavorful. It doesnt taste diety one bit! gosh i love those things. some of them even come with dessert. the dessert is soooo good!!! I am making my self hingry typing this! The next best are the lean Cuisine but they DONT fill you up as much as the healthy choice. My least favorite are the banquet meals. they have no taste what so ever...dont waste your money.

Ht. 5' 1", Wt. 146 - hey i guess im new to this. well after my birthday i was feeling kinda depressed and then i stepped on the scale and saw that i weighed a 174 pounds and immeadiately started freaking out. i lost 7 pounds the next week but then i gained 5 of it back after my friends party. i stopped watching what i was eating for a while when i noticed that i had still managed to lose 3 lbs without a conciouss effort.
right now i have lost about 28lbs. without giving up food that is a guilty pressure. somehow i manage to have pizza once or twice a week with my friends and still lose 2lb. every week. this summer is also helping because i have volleyball for an hour and a half in the morning monday-thursday and an extra wednesday night practice- plus my mom or step dad are never home so i am forced to bike if i want 2 go anymore!! my goal is to lose 20 more pounds this summer!!

Ht. 5' 4", Wt. 172 - Okay so my aunt is on the weight watchers diet and on it you get this daily points range and since I've been on it I gained 3 lbs and I don't know why. My aunt thinks that I am going to go through the "family growth spurt" soon and that is why I gained teh weight but lately I have felt like it has been because of the diet. I know that I think I have been eating more than I should because I have been doing this experiment to see how many calories are counted in one point I get 22 points and there are 70 calories per point that means that I am eating 70x22=1540 and that is like 340 over what I am supposed to eat but how do I tell my aunt that I can't be on the diet any more if she only enourages me on this diet!!!!!! I NEED TIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ht. 5'1, Wt. 204 lbs - I have this great site to recommend for kids who are interested called ToneTeen.com. It's wonderful and is for teens who want to live healthy lifestyles, including those who want to lose weight. It's nice because it stresses good nutrition and physical activity, and is mostly against fad diets. The forums are especially wonderful.
If anyone is interested, you can PM me there on the messege boards. My username is NikkaAali.
I think ToneTeen.com is a great resource to have, and I'd like to meet some of you there.
Good luck with your weight loss,
Emily

Ht. 5' 4", Wt. 172 - Okay to say to some who replied me I ate a weight watchers english muffin. The mustard that I ate was not that much and where are you getting your information. I didn't eat all of the things that I wrote on there because at the end note that I said I hadn't eaten dinner yet and I was thinking of eating those things meaning I only ate 500 calories plus I just ate supper (a weight watchers english muffin).

Ht. 5'4", Wt. 150 - Okay so i started out good today but then it all went downhill. I mean I had 1 piece of toast with a bit of butter and a cup of 1% milk. Then for lunch i made these pan fried potatoes i had like 15 of them there little slices things. And then i had a bunch of grapes for a snack. and the i had 2 ice cream bar things (70 cal each) then I had like this homemade mac and cheese my mom made and I had 2 helpings :(. Then I just had like a whole thing of kettle corn.
EXCERCIZE: I did 300 crunches,50 pushups,50 situps,75 jumping jacks,15 leg lifts on each leg, then I went on a 3 mile bike ride, and I had cheerleading for 2 hours. They told us at cheerleading to wear ankle weights while doing our jumps to make them higher so i'm now going to try that.
I did bad but does my excercize make up for some of the stuff?
