Ht. 5' 4", Wt. 172 - Kaylee running is just faster and you have a faster recovery if you run for a short period of time rather than walk for a long time. So mo running doesn't burn more calories it just gets you from point a to point b faster. -Allie

Ht. 5'4", Wt. - - Hi guys! I am doing pretty well today and so far only have about 70 calories because I burned off most of the others. Does anyone have suggestions for a healthy dinner because I don't want to ruin a good day with a junk food dinner. Thanks!

Ht. 5'0'', Wt. 150 - I think i am doing ok today- so heres what i have done. For breakfast I ate a bowl of Kix with skim milk- 150 calories. I then went on a two mile walk pushing my 30lb cousin in the stroller. For lunch I had a small piece of bread with ham and a little cheese. I drank some water and now am going to make a strawberry smoothie with just strawberries and ice because apparently strawberries are negative/very little calories. I then am going to tennis for an hour and a half. BUT then I am going to the Brewer's game. I am worried that I will blow my good day then? Should I just not bring money along so I will not be tempted to eat too much, and eat a healthy supper beforehand? Any tips as to how to not eat the junk food there?

Ht. 5'6 1/2, Wt. 152 - :/ Hey you guys.
I am over weight by about 15 lbs.
I hope no one gets offended at me being here by it not being a huge issue. But the fact is it still hurts. & it is a problem i have been dealing with for many years. And i am a person who always says im going to loose weight. but hasnt. In the past 3 years i havemost likely said "you guys im sick of being in my skin and i want to loose weight" about 1000 times. I just dont have any help/motivation. Im kind of poor. so i dont have a gym membership/ and i cant get one. my mom is kind of stick so she wont let me go running. And my family doesnt buy healty food, because honestly its a little pricy compared to what we usually get. Does any one know anything that can help me? Ht. 4'11', Wt. 141 - yesterday the scale said 141, so i guess i lost 5 pounds, even though i don't see any difference in me or feel any different. I just walked 8760 steps, or 3.307 miles, and burned 189 calories. is this right?!?!? Because some people on here are saying when you walk 10,000 steps you burn almost 500 calories. Is my step counter off or am I doing something wrong?!?!?

Ht. 5' 4", Wt. 172 - Hi guys today I found out alot.I found out that it takes about 3500 extra calories to make a pound but it also takes burning that 3500 calories to lose a pound. Also if you walk (or run) a mile than you will burn 100 calories so if you walk 35 miles a week (5 miles a day) than you will lose 1 pound as long as you only eat the average of 1200 calories!!! Tommorrow I am starting a new dieting plan do to this information!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any tips that you have still will be greatly excepted I was just so excited to share this information!!!!!!!!!!!YAY -Allie

Ht. 5'7'', Wt. 185.5 - Hi everyone I have a huge problem I broke my ankle and now I can't exercise for the minuimum of 4 months. I broke it in 6 spots from jumpiing on my trampoline into are pool well my ankle sort of missed the pool edge and crash it went. I was in rushed to the Emergency Room after that. They say that I can't walk on it for the minimum of 4 months depending on my recovery. And now we have to replace the pool too. My pool water wasn't clear after it if you know what I mean. Well if anyone knows how I can still keep up with my diet and not exercise please help me. Thanks

Ht. 5'7'', Wt. 185.5 - Hey can someone tell me some good foods to eat due I'm on crutches/wheelchair for 4 months and I can't exercise as much does anyone have good foods I can eat. And I can't have ANY milk products. PLEASE HELP ME!! I don't want my diet to collapse because my ankle is broke from me exercising. (Technically) Is jumping on a trampoline into a pool good exercise?

Ht. 5'0'', Wt. 150 - I ate about 1200 calories today, pushed my 30 lb cousin in the stroller for two miles, biked mostly uphill for 3 miles, and played tennis for an hour and a half, but I feel really icky because about 300 of my 1200 calories were junk food that I didn't NEED to eat. I am having a hard time saying no! At this rate, will I be able to lose 7-10 lbs in 10 weeks? Its so hard to stay focused long term!

anyways, school starts in september (8th or so?) and I want to lose 20-25 pounds. is is possible? I have 11 weeks. The healthy weight loss is 1-2/2-3 pounds a week. so yes it's possible?
How many calories would I have to eat a day. I exercise ALOT (not trying to brag or anything) But I have no trouble with exercising, I just have trouble with the eating part. I'm on the girls tennis team next year, so I need to get in shape for that/practice, since it's all cardio.
I'm new at this guys..nice comments please?
