Ht. 5'7, Wt. 182 - I use to come on here under the name clifford but changed that cuz that got old....I am slowly looseing the weight and hope I loose the weight by the time i need to take senior pics this summer i want to be 150 by than and I can do it...I am also goin to start training for XC in the fall and goin to ask the coach any tips on how to get my endurance up so i can do it and run well without getting tired and out of breath....Well I am wishin yall a whole lot of luck and any XC runners out there with tips can u please offer them up..thanx

Ht. 5'7", Wt. 206 - Has anyone had problems with pilates? Awhile back I got the winsor-pilates tapes and I worked my way up to doing the advanced tape every single day. I did this for a month and seriously noticed no results, my clothes fit no looser and i didnt lose any weight. I was eating healthy and cut my portions as well. I thought that maybe I was doing them wrong somehow but in gym class we did a pilates with the same exact tapes and my gym teacher commented me on how well I did them and asked if I had done them before. Any clues on what went wrong?

N>219G>165 - Is it possible to tone your stomach up by doing crunches even if you have fat around you're stomach cause that is all I need to lose is my stomach and I know you can't target where you want to lose but people say you can so i don't know but I wanna lose 55 pounds by the first of june and I got everything down but I can't help eating something fried or pizza every now and then its like I do so good on my diet during the week but when the weekend comes I eat everthing. So any good advice or exercises to do for my stomach would be really good to hear. Good luck to everybody!!!!!!!!!!! also tell me if you think its possible for me to lose 55pounds by june 1st

I might say.. 3000 calories give or take. It was about 11:30 when I finally got to thinking just how disgusting that is, so I decided to do something. I poured out all of the regular soda, threw away the left over pizzza and cinna sticks, and got rid of all of the junk food in the house. At my school, I normally eat a very small lunch, simply because i'm not hungry. But when school's out, it's a whole different ball game. I will eat candy and drink soda with no regard to nuttrition or self-restraint at all. This happens about 4/7 days in a week. Anyways, I'm really disgusted, and I want to do something. I've been overweight since about 2nd grade, only by about 5 or 6 pounds.. then more and more until I'm about 140 lbs, 30 lbs overweight, and 90th percential in how much I weigh comared to my peers. I know all there is to know about what I should and shouldn't eat, I just need a gradual plan that I can stick to. I'm not a whimp, I can do some good exersize, but I need to make the no junk food gradual, and I need to be able to forgive myself. Plz give me your ideas as to how I could loose about 25 lbs before summer. If it actually works, I will feel so good because I won't be called fat, won't be self concious with my shirt tucked in an no jacket or sweater on top, or just no shirt on, and I'll feel great!
