hey, well i'm just wondering what is a good amount of calories to eat every day. i weigh about 195 (i don't know if that matters) and i've been doing the basic tae bo every day for 30 mins and usually dancing aroung my room.

Changing my name again because yesterday was my birthday and i wished that for my teens i would be out of the hospitail and it came true..... so if every1 could lay off of me cause i never new what it was so my anut should me since both of my parents died in a car accident when i was 3 years old. I miss them tho!!

Its been a while since I have posted on this board. o lordy. well i've only lost one pound since my last posting i think. Shouldn't tae-bo, and then the firm every other day, then yoga twice a week bring results? I have the same prob as claudia with my my weight not moving where i want, cept i donno if I've gained muscle or not. Pleaze help, should I cut back on calories though i've done really good-not one day have i gone over 1500 calories? O wait it out for another week or two?

Ht. 5'5", Today: 134 lb (BMI %tile: 77), Goal: 120 lb - Hey I haven't checked here for a while but I'm 134lbs =D I've lost 4 lbs I'm 5'5 and I wanna get down to about 120 so 14 pounds left.. I got sick last week and a day I lost 4 lbs so I was done to 130 and I was like WOA and it just felt so good (but of course it came back) anyways I got a book on Teenage Fitness and I've been doing this 20 minutes exercise routine (basically strength training) and it makes me feel a lot better(especially about my tummy I can feel the burn, and that makes me confident)... oh okay heres a lil tip I dont know if it will work for you but it worked for me. My dad offered me a donut and of course I took it it was looking at me like "eat me I'm so good" and so I went to the bathroom mirror and I ate the donut infront of the mirror.. well I obviously didn't eat the whole thing after the person staring back at me it was really gross so if you want that big yummy ... Okay so like I posted below saying that I've been doing the FIRM super body sculpt, it's upper body, lower body and abs all in one tape anyways I've been doing it every night and have been having trouble losing weight. Normally I would have lost some weight by now, but since I've been doing the tape I gained like two pounds (it's been 16 days) anyways, everybody is telling me that it's muscle, but I would really also like to lose some weight! I've been doing so good with eating and all that so you'd think I might lose some weight and it would just cancel out any weight I gained from the tape... but noooo... I'm just gaining and I'm getting really upset because I want to lose some weight!! I've lost inches so I know it's working but it's getting really frustrating not losing any weight at all, but gaining weight!! These are just some tips I have to help me loose weight..and I thought I might share..Have a journal and write down your goals and what you ate that day. Exercise daily. Aerobic will strenthen your cardiovascular system..also do some weight training. Stretching can help relieve stress/tension also. When you feel like eating something you shouldn't..wate five minutes..and take 5 bites of something healthy before you eat something bad. Drink lots of water..also..it's kina-of hard to drink water during cold weather so make yourself some decaff tea...and enjoy! Don't step on the scale every day..make weekly/monthly weigh ins. Most important..give yourself time! It's not easy to just hop onto healthy eating..and go from there...if you mess up..write it in your journal..and go take a walk, play with your pets,stretch, maybe go shopping if it makes you feel better. These are just some tips what I'm using so..I hope you find them useful! =)

Todd here with the daily progress. Ergh! I had gym at like 745 this morning (middles school officially sucks, and so does 9th grade, but anyhow...), did 200 situps and 45ish pushups. Just got finished working out on the elliptical downstairs (did upwards of 40 minutes). Did ok in regards to food today, but had a gingerbread cookie for a snack (darn cravings). O well, I'm still 3 month away from the time I have set for my goal. I'll weigh myself in the morning... If pro is positive and con is negative, then isn't the opposite of progress congress? --- HAHA Don't mean any offense... I'm HYPER (and sweaty)... Until tomorrow, I'm out.

Hey you guys one of my friends told me this when her Mum was doing an experiment on it. Say you drink one bottle coke, soda, any fizzy drink, your bones will leak twice as much calcium, so although you may think I'll let myself have loads of coke today, then you are actually harming your body quite a lot! You probs already know this, but anyways. Believin in ya LOL Luv Lola
