Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 170 lb, Goal: 150 lb - i feel great. i haven't gone over my calories in 3 days. i think that after a week of doing what im doing (only 4 more days!) i will have lost a pound, since i calculated everything via the internet and it should work. i really want to be in the 160's. this morning i got on the scale and the needle was between 169 and 170 so i think i lost half a pound so far. im really excited! my friends bf's brother told me i was looking really skinny and that if i lose anymore weight im gonna disappear (a big exaggeration but it felt nice to hear nonetheless lol) im so excited to be thin. only a little more to go. im so close. ive lost 55 pounds so far, 5 past my original goal. my new goal though is 75, to put me at 150. and then, considering i carry a lot of weight in my midsection (i have a very flat stomach and it looks thin but its flabby and theres at least 4 inches of fat on my lower stomach) i... Anywho, I messed up my back yesterday and I'm not really sure how. It hurts to move so all I can really do is lay down. I'm not sure whether I should suck it up and continue my exercises or slow down till my back feels better... or... ? I'm really not sure. So any suggestions, tips, or exercise ideas would be great... After about a week, i had lost four pounds of fat, gained 3 in muscle, and then put 12 pounds of fat back on.A few friends of mine, a few girls and guys, all friends or aquentances,in my town, are close to my wieght, and we've talked about the problems. However, come the holidays, like christmas, they come back(using 1 as an example)20 pounsd heavier.Nevertheless, they, nor nobody else in my predicament seem to care when they gain wieght often, slurge often, complain about thier wieght, and repeat.3 weeks ago, I had a "post-school" physical; as it turns out, I have but 48 pounds of muscle and 62 pounds of fat. I was happy, cus that was better than my last physical.I am now about 195 pounds, but I am worried about things like"will I splurge on the 4th?", or "Will the girls who like me, and I in return, care if I look heavy in a swimsuit?".If anyone is willing to help, please do so. Ht. 5'6", Start: 160 lb, Today: 162 lb, Goal: 155 lb - Today was such a bad day. I haven't stopped eating all day...and i know it's cuz i've been bored. I dont work on the weekends so i usually just stay at home and rest. And i haven't been able to exercise like i've wanted to this week cuz of other things that i've had to do all week. But i'm going to the gym tomorrow. That's what i've kept telling myself all day today to make myself feel better. I feel gross right now. I'm trying not to eat for the rest of the night either. I hate these days where i just pig out. Oh well. Tomorrow's a new day, right?

Ht. 5'3", Start: 172 lb, Today: 162 lb, Goal: 125 lb - i can't stop eating. i just looked at myself in the mirror and i look like i am pregnant with my stomach, and it's getting on my nerves. my season of dance ended so that takes off a lot of exercise in my workout week. my goal is to get to 125 pounds by next february for my birthday. i need encouragement, and determination to keep me from binge eating. tips??

Oh, and my family eats like so much pizza and unhealthy stuff..it's almost impossible to lose weight. Even when we have salads I overeat. HELP!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 170 lb, Goal: 150 lb - so i think i did really well today !:) im proud of myself.i had some tofu an egg and 1 piece of weight watchers bread, then i had an all bran bar, 2 yogurts and another half of a granola bar, then i had a greek salad. i think i only had about 800 calories today, but im not hungry at all right now. plus i had like 400 extra calories yesterday so this will even it out anyways. if im hugnry later ill have some fruit though, im not going to starve myself. i just need to start exercising more, like i never have time i work so much and ive got so much other stuff going on in my life to keep me busy that i cant find time to work out on my elliptical or anything like that. but i tihnk ill start walking to and from work again, its only like a 20 min walk so thatll help i think. anyways, thats it for me, just wanted to stop by lol keep going everyone, we can all do this we're stronger than everyone thinks! :)

Now I feel like it's my moment of truth; do I want this, or don't I? I'm going off to college in less than two months with my service dog, Jen. I want to get my Intervention Specialist licensure. What comes next? I want to become an Instructor for Canine Companions for Independence, the wonderful organization that gave me my Jen. This is a major turning point in my life, and I want to reinvent myself; become the person that I've always wanted to be. I'm tired of watching opportunities pass me by; I'm ready to chase my dreams with everything I've got. I want to be healthy (my first and most important dream) so that achieving my other dreams will be easier. I know from experience that I will find immense support and encouragement on this board, and I will be around to offer the same sentiments to those who need them. Best of luck to everyone!! She was sitting next to me on the couch and I was so self consious, so I was sucking in my stomach. She took her hands and was still able to grasp 2 big handfuls of belly fat and said, "you need to be doing situps. once you put the weight on, its hards to take it off." then she started grabbing my arm and leg fat. i pretended not to care, but i did. later i saw her trying on my shorts and she said, " look at this. i am a grandmother and i can fit into these." i need to lose weight. HELP ME!

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - "I am he as you are as you are me and we are all togetherrr!" I know we are all together in this thing. Some of us losing brilliantly while some us are not losing terribly! I'm still frustrated. I just wish I switch my body with someone sometimes. Ok, not sometimes most times I wish this. I hate how some people can eat whatever the hell they want and not gain single lb, damn their metabolism!!!! Nothing is changing with me. I've been on this plateau of 178 since like...last March! I've tried everything. I've been working my butt off. I'm tired of thinking about food so much. I'm tired of obsessing. I feel like I'm obsessing right now but that's my problem..I have OCD or something with everything. My brain is on the verge of explosion and magazines and tv screens don't make it any better. :'(
