Ht. 5'9", Start: 187 lb, Today: 187 lb, Goal: 160 lb - Would 1 hour of tennis drills (always moving), 1.5 mile walk/run, 3 mile bike ride and some crunches at night be overworking the body? I'm not saying do this everyday, maybe cut out the bike every once in awhile, but would it be too much? I pretty much used to do this every day last year, but I was sore for a long time.

Okay, so yesterday I was going to start my diet, and I kindof did. The only this is - my Dad wanted to order out for dinner and I had no other choice really. I have that problem a lot - my friends or parents or grandparents, someone always want to eat out/get fast food/or order out. And I always blame that for the reason that I don't do well on a diet, but you know what? That's life. It's not like I can completely eliminate junk food from my life unless I stop talking to everyone, hah. I decided I'll just have to limit how much I eat. And I tried to do that last night, and I wanted to get an opinion on how I did. We got garbage plates [not sure if you guys know what that is because it's indigenous to this area I think] and I only ate the hamburger with hot sauce but no other condiments or... (view more)

Ht. 5'3", Start: 218 lb, Today: 198 lb, Goal: 150 lb - About two months ago I decided to go on the Atkins diet, and I did really well the first two weeks, and lost 8 pounds, but then when I started adding more carbs back to my diet like the rules say, I stopped losing weight completely. I went on vacation about a month ago, and I haven't been able to get back on track with the diet again, and I know that now I would have to start it all over again. :( The diet was ok, but I honestly don't think it's the best method. I think it's smart to stay away from refined sugars and white flour as much as you can, and load up on veggies, but I am just not sure that the strict atkins works for me. Does anyone think I should just try to cut out the white flour and sugar out of my diet, and just try to eat more whole wheat and grains and such? While eating lots of veggies and meat and cheese and fruit and nuts? Does that sound good? Or does anyone else have any suggestions? And regarding my last post, I did find a running program. ;) Thanks!

Ht. 5'3", Start: 250 lb, Today: 145 lb, Goal: 90 lb - hi myname is rosa martinez im 14 years old im overweight i weight 260lb im in the 7 grade and i likely dont have friends because of my weight well most teens in my school call me name like look at that fat girl and thy start saying more stuff but the only thing i do in is get away from them im from mexico but i came to california to do beter and when i came here at the age of 8 and thats when i start getting more weight i fill sad that i can do nothing about it i need special thing to start losing weight if some one will help me do my goal of losing weight it will be a gift for me every body that is like me we need help to achive and get a good life and healthy. please help me any body. it will be a great gift for me.** xoxo's

Ht. 5'2", Start: 149 lb, Today: 148 lb, Goal: 120 lb - It's been about 2 days now. I haven't had anything "sweet" and "sugary", unless 2 fig bars count (even though they're like, 60 calories each). I haven't been on the treadmill since yesterday because my legs have been tired from lots of DDR. However I've been trying to do sit-ups while watching TV. I know I have to work a little harder if I want to reach my goal, and I know I can reach it if I really believe in myself.

I was just curious, because sometimes when I run, they ache, and I wake up in the morning sore, and then when I run another time, I fine running, and I don't wake up sore at all
