Ht. 5'5, Wt. 150 (finally!) - I seem to see a lot of posts that say that you want to lose weight for a guy, and I wanted to finish that up with a few blunt words. 1. If you lose weight for a guy, you're not going to keep it off, and he still might not notice you. 2. That weight should be coming off for YOU, and no one else. Only you can make yourself lose weight, not your parents, not your friends, not your boyfriend, YOU! 3. Even if that guy was attracted to you after that, it is NOT for the right reasons. So ladies, be smart, and lose weight for yourself, only you. You can't live not being happy with yourself. You either have to love yourself, or change yourself so you can. You should be doing this voluntarily, not by punishment. C'mon, girls! Were better than this!

Ht. 5'3", Wt. 204... blah! - So far this year I haven't visited this site very much... I don't think that helps any... but I lost 15 pounds a year ago, and have maintained it for a year now! I guess that's good. Anyways... I want to get back on track with my weight loss. I am working right now to save up some sweet moolah for college next year... and I would LOVE to lose 50-70 pounds before then. I am aiming for 50 for now, because I don't know how I will look after that much weight loss. It's great because where I work, I have the healthiest choices for food I could possibly imagine! Everything there is healthy and fresh except for the cookies, haha! My problem is, when I get home from work, I tend to snack... and then I snack again about an hour or so after dinner. And if it was a healthy choice like fruits or veggies, that... (view more)Ht. 5'3", Wt. 204... blah! - So far this year I haven't visited this site very much... Everything there is healthy and fresh except for the cookies, haha! My problem is, when I get home from work, I tend to snack... and then I snack again about an hour or so after dinner. And if it was a healthy choice like fruits or veggies, that would be fine, but I usually pick something dumb like ice cream or chocolate... or something bad like that. So I need work on that. Another thing, is I am totally out of shape!!! I need some serious toning... especially in my abs. I was thinking about doing a pilates tape I have that combines cardio and strength training, three times a week... and I work about 20-30 hours a week... so if I can change those things (getting more exercise and healthier snacking), is that good, and will I lose weight fast enough? Any comments or suggestions are very much appreciated! And sorry this thing is so long... Hope you all got through it ok. Thanks! -sHeKiNa♥ (view less)

Ht. 5ft. 5in., Wt. 169lbs - Okay...I wanna scream to high heaven! Gym was rockin' today!! I've gained great muscle in my arms and legs, even my abs. it's not like a six-pack or anything but I did so much better than last year and some of my heavier friends. I think loosing 15lbs and praciticing my exercises helped a lot. You can believe my teacher is a drill sargent..she's a kick-boxing instrucor! Her workouts are really intense, son that's one of my three formal exercise days of the week!

Ht. 5'7, Wt. : ) - Just another fun little tip from your always dieting pal Kayla... if you make a little slip up don't seat it. What I'm trying to say here is that if you do happen to have that piece of cake or have cold pizza for breakfast don't say "Oh man, my day is shot. Might as well have whatever I want for the rest of day." What I've discovered is if you just go on with your diet like usual you'll probably stay the same or you may still lose weight. If you eat whatever you want I've alway felt gross and gained like 3 pounds overnight. That weight takes a week or more to take off, but it only took one night to put on. Doesn't seem worth it to me. So if you accidentally stray off your diet don't completely trash your day. You'll be better off in the long run. Hope this helps!!! So good luck and keep at it. NEWS REPORT: after 4 years of painful dieting I've got 25 pounds to go. YAY!!!!

Ht. 5'3", Wt. 200 - Seems like there has been a lot of posts asking for tips on loseing weight. The responce to everyone has been eat healthy and exercise. I know thats true but there is a lot more to it than that. I have a ton of tips and I feel it's about time for me to start posting again and helping everyone out. So here are my tips. 1. Drink lots of water seriously drink half your weight in oz of water. Like if you were 120 lbs you should drink 60 oz of water. The best way to know if your drinking enough water is if your pee is clear. Kinda weird but true... (Click here to see rest of post).
